Didn't want to thread-jack, so continuing this on a new thread...
While attending CSS at Laguna Seca, I was going through the paddock eating a banana and not paying attention. Walked right into one of the school's S1000s and knocked it over. Only a dozen or so people saw it happen. :)

CSS, especially @ Laguna, is amazing! Rent their bikes, bring your gear. I learned how to tuck the front and catch it (after losing it in one highside, one lowside, both in T2 @ Laguna) and all it cost me was $250 of my security deposit. Then I went out on my own racebike the following weekend back home, felt the front tucking, and caught it at the limit! The lowside I averted would have cost me many MANY times more than the $250 CSS charged me.

Get out there @ CSS and go nuts! Just do it on the last 2 sessions of the last day to get away with it :)

Wow! That's pretty good for damage costs. Another member on the forum did the Yamaha school and it cost him a lot more than $250 for a low side. I think it was $500 or $1000 they charged him. Did you have to buy extra insurance to cover the crash?

Laguna is my dream track to ride so I'm plenty jealous. Sounds like it was well worth the $$$ to ride that track and gain the knowledge experience from the school.
