Delivery of the 1199R !

Wonder how much bigger it is and what the gains were from the redesign. Not to stray off subject, but are the customers that purchased the full system given the option to replace the old headers with the redesigned ones?

Is this redesigned, or a new "full racing system" as decribed for the R? Just saying they may have 2 models now of exhaust.

The additional bolt is a lock...as the swingarm pivot is adjustable on the R. Notice the numbers "0" and "+2" engraved on the edges?

We dont get that on the Base, S and Tri.

That big monstrous Heatshield is fine for hot temperate climates like ours....

But for cold countries...you can just use the standard carbon DP Heatshield for a full exhaust system...heat aint a bother for you guys!

Here in the Philippines though...I would go for the bigger heatshield...its just F..kin hot here! We need the updated heatshields badly...

1) the loop looks far bigger bore

2) the section that shows through the fairing looks smaller

Guys, when I get my R next coming days I will have a short driving report. It is being finished now for delivery. My dealer has 5 bikes for this year and that should be it for the whole year.

That's what I was noticing. I saw the R at the IMS show in Novi and had my picture taken on it, but I did not notice the massively larger pipe. Why design it on this bike and not for others?

Guys, the loop isn't bigger then the full system I had on my S. Look at the photos. Now the header pipe could be a tad smaller, but I am not sure. I heard they did that for more torque. Akra does the same thing.

The other 2 Panigale 1199R that our Dealer Zaltbommel Received are ordered by Me and My son.
Think our delivery will take place end of next week.

They are installing some DP parts as we speak (short numberplate holder - the DP footpegs / shifter - Brembo HPK disks and Marchessini magnesium wheels)

I think its great that 4 of the 5 Ducati panigale R owers from (NL) Zaltbommel are active on this Forum (not Sure if Nicky Romero is active here).

The R comes from the factory with the street legal exhaust system, which was removed on mine before delivery. Also the standard big black heat shield and cylinder cover (as shown on the movie) were removed as I found the cylinder cover ugly.
The Termignoni carbon (big) heat shield was installed as part of the bigger exhaust system.
