Bike is a weapon, once the 1000km passed it certainly seemed to free up even more - didnt skip a beat, DTC/ABS is amazing. First service due Tuesday 1489km traveled (shop said no more than 1500km) Awesome bike - very happy I went the Ducati road :)

road it to the guidelines till 100 miles.. to the bitch to the track.. and used it to control ride till 750 miles.. but I was to the redline every now and again.. but never all the time and not for long... after 750.. rape the duc... no oil leaks.. no hard starts

Bought mine with 600 miles on it, and from mile 1 it was on a track and taken to the limit! Does have the typical burnt oil smell, but it's not burning it at a fast rate at all, makes normal power on the dyno, and no issues starting it or leaks.

I dig your zx10r youtube race vids from the ridge, looks like a hell of a workout esp. in damp conditions. When are you going to race the Panigale?

Can someone plot the answers on a 3 dimension Cartesian coordinate plane and get some r values already? lol

a,c,c it smoked and burnt a very small amount of oil till I hit 3,000kms or so then it stopped, also occasional hard starting untill I removed charcoal canister, with no problems since, no leaks at all.

A - Pretty much followed break in.
B - Leaks more than enough to notice. I have a pan under my bike to catch the oil drips.
C - Had hard start maybe twice. After the charcoal canister was removed, never had a problem starting the bike.
