Cool vid with some beautiful panoramic shots. Drone? Looks like a great trip and this is what I would love to and plan on doing in the near future.

What are you riding out there?

Thanks for sharing!

I had a Beta 300CC 2 Stroke which i had jetted for altitude and it generally worked great but there were times it bogged down, the ideal bike is a jetted 4 stroke probably 350CC up to a 500.

I was born and raised in Idaho, 2 miles from the sand dunes there! Now I live in Salt Lake and love Utah. From the snowy mountains to the deserts, there isn't much you can't do here.
Great vid!

I was just looking at a Beta 500 RR-S. How do you like your Beta overall?

I think they are great, you will need to re-tighten all the bolts but other then that they are well put together, i also had a warranty issue and it was sorted very quickly with Beta offering 6 months warranty KTM offer 30 days i believe.

3 of my friends also have 300RR's and all are happy,

Great! Thanks for the feedback on you experience with Beat so far.

i'm going to buy a trials bike that's the next purchase, i'm looking to pick it up from the UK and ship it over.

Trials bikes are super cool. I havn't touched my dirt bike or trials bike in six months but have been getting them cleaned up lately ready for the winter fun. Skids and wheelies rule! Why are you shipping one from the UK, can't you just get it in NYC?

All trials bikes are all made in Europe and with the exchange rate so strong they are just a lot cheaper, I have just started making some calls but I think it makes sense

well, the new scrambler desert sled looks kinda close to a dirt bike, but it's HEAVY at 456lbs (207kg)

Casey and the 1299SL

The USA 1299SL bike will come with a under the bike exhaust. This is per the Live premier. it will weigh 165 kilo vs the 167 kilo for the euro 3 compliant.

yea it would need to lose 80kg or so to be competitive, plus they could not get away with charging ducati pricing for spares.
