yeah, sorry for what it is, but we (mods) cannot be the kindergarten cops all the time...


you guys don't want to know how many PM's i've sent back and forth (on my vacation in Italy, at the pool, from the couch while playing with my 2 year old) telling people TO GROW THE .... UP and stop wasting people's time with their personal (DIGITAL & IMAGINARY) .........


some just don't get it. they can't be helped.




i advise to use the ignore list for special cases.

Thanks for what you do and to the rest of the moderators. Grown men and women shouldn't need babysitters though. So thanks for stepping in and doing what you can to help this community out when people don't act their age.

That's a shame but great advice about the ignore feature, I use it on forums that have it and it can free your life. It's like when my wife is up in arms about things that have happened on stalkbook and I am blissfully unaware because I don't participate :)

Good memories and we also had Frostyfire's posts which offered some entertainment! Although it made all the subsequent trolls look like amateurs.

I prefer the quality vs quantity approach less the ego.
 
I think why all internet forums are dead, is people today have become to a degree narcissistic in real life and figure why should I help a random person when the time invested won’t be repaid.

Even YouTube has died off because people making the content aren’t getting paid decent money anymore. (Informative videos that is)

So what your saying is the human race has become a mob of ..... ?
 
Not the end and not everyone but yer it has even my grand parents say the same.

People used to help people even during the depression.

I have helped numerous people out solving electrical problems (in person or over forums), told people were to get cheap parts for jap bikes direct from japan. One company helped my supervisor as he had no idea on fault loop/max length/breaker selection. Done cheap electrical jobs for people and no favours returned.

(Except for the guy that actually ran the bike forum)

There are hundreds of moto forums the fact that this forum gets multiple postings daily is a small miracle. Ya some posts are annoying and stupid. Some people get snapped at whether its deserved or not. lol. But the forum is free to join and there are people managing the forum for us so it doesnt crash and etc. So im greatful to have a cool place to hang out. Regardless
posts and rants.
