Downshift "Blipper" Function - You want?

Yes, I think we have two left now. We have the cables available as well. Yes, the blip map is the same for any 1199 model, and the exhaust doesn't matter, but it's a different map for standard or GP shift, you just need to specify that on your order if you're running GP shift. Nothing about the BlipBox will invalidate a warranty, it's an external module and does not mess with any internal settings on the bike or the ECU.

You can get one here:
http://www.motospecialties.com/store.asp?store=ducatiomaha&level=category&type=Superbike&type1=1199 Panigale&type2=Electronic Components&category=Downshift Blipper

Ordered online but couldn't see where to specify that I am running the standard shift. Can you PM me your email address and i'll send you an email to confirm.
Cheers,

Sammo

Hi Jarel,

Looks like my Blip Box will be arriving on Monday - thanks for the quick service.
I can't imagine that i'd want to turn off the quickshift but just out of interest what would happen if I inadvertently configured the DQS to off in the menu options?
Does the Blip Box bypass or supersede the DQS option altogether or will switching DQS to off inactivate the Blip Box function for both up and down shifts?

If you turn DQS off on the dash, it will disable the quick-shifter but I don't believe it will disable the downshift blip function. Remember, the quick-shift function is still being handled by your stock ECU, just the switch from the blip-box sensor is sending the signal to the ECU to execute it. The blip function only is managed by the Blip Box.

Received mine today. Thanks Jarel!!!:D

Thanks for checking. Make that one left. Pulled the trigger on the order just now.

Cool, the guys will e-mail you to request the bike information we need to program it correctly before sending out to you!

Hi Sammo it was a pretty straight forward install. Just have to neatly route the loom around thats all. The only tricky part ( not really that hard lol ) was unbolting the slave cylinder to get access to the shift rod bolt and replace it with the one that comes with the blip box. Make sure u measure the existing shift rod length before swapping it over. Hope that helps lol..... oh by the way you need to remove both side fairings as well. I only partially removed the lower left side fairing.

Why need to measure the shift rod length Kev - doing mine tomorrow.

Cheers

Im guessing it's to make the shift feel the same as OEM... not to sure to be honest but the instructions tells us to lol

Sweet . . . I presume it does exactly what it says on the tin when you use the downshift blip.

Then what, you have to trip the blip box rod to match the length of the OEM?

I'm due for a ride with the boys tomorrow and will let you guys know how it goes :D
