Agreed.... I love these wheels....but they seem overpriced....

Price seems pretty competitive with rival options. OZ's are great wheel as you know and those are very light for Aluminum wheels. Marche's are a little less but you are obviously paying for the limited nature of these wheels, No?

Got the Marchesinis by 1.5lbs in the rear, thats pretty good.

Marchesini Alum Forged 10 spoke: Front: 7.64 pounds, Rear: 9.98

OZ Alum Forged 7.45 lb w/axle spacer and valve stem Rear: 8.50 lb w/valve stem

you do know they also come in mag. but they are like 4 grand.

Seems like all Mags are just about the 4K marker. At that point its a carbon party for me. But in truth they have done a great job with shedding weight with the forged Alm's, not sure its woth the extra 2K for a pound.

Those are the wheels I went with but I switched up the color just a tad. Ok more like completely changed lol. Couple of folks have witnessed the sneak peak but I'm waiting until they're mounted to update my own thread. I love these wheels!!

Hit up Randy @ Bellisimoto. He'll hook you up. I got a nice deal on them with the required spacer.

oz makes a few designs. what makes the replica forged aluminum so appealing is that its actually the cattiva r desing (aka 6 spoke) the other forged aluminum is the piega ones but those are not as appealing imo because of the 5 spoke design.

the cattiva r only comes in magnisum and they are 3800

since i have the s and the bst and the forged mag oz wheels are 2 lbs of each other i wouldnt swtich. however if i could get my hands on the magnisum (only 50 made for ducati) replicas i would consider . the specs are insane

according to oz website the front is 2.5 kg and the rear is 3 kg. i have not seen these wheels anywhere.

alum is front 3.3kg rear 3.8 kg

stock S wheels alum 2.7 front 3.4 rear

stock base wheels 3.7 front 4.5 rear

bst 2.56 front 2.79 rear

i assume these weights are just the wheels cause bst says add for bearings etc. so does oz

For those who DONT know this, Mark absolutely LOVES numbers!!!

Its an inside joke with him - he works with numbers and thinks numbers 24/7! Always crunching them and coming up with rationale about this n that. One thing i can say, is if you want to be SURE of something involving numbers - Ask Mark! :)

Where is the best place to purchase Marchesini forged aluminum wheels for the Pani? I fell in love with the gold set I saw on a forum members R model.

what design 5 spoke or 6. the 6 spoke are the cattiva r wheels and they retail for 3800. if its forged aluminum its the 5 spoke piega wheels you can get black or gold. they are the only ones in this type of design that are forged aluminum .
if you get the checa replicas they are forged aluminum and 6 spoke but you would have to paint them.

anyway to answer your question motowheels is the us distributor for oz but you may get a better deal through bellissimoto
