Ive been around here a while and no secret that i do not like rossi one bit. IMO one of the most over rated people in sports. I have him up there with derek jeter and mega tron and peyton manning. Any way the blind love for Ducati on this site (expected as its a ducati forum) and the blind love for 46 is pretty intense. 99 is hated. is it because of him winning and taking the shine away from 46 or is it because of personality again who knows. I think 99 is great and amazing to watch.

so here is the question and oh boy and i would assume very difficult for the ducati faithfull. Last race of the season its all tied up only 2 people have a shot at winning. 99 or 46. its ducati or rossi. who do you take.

Would have to pull for 99 even though im not a Rossi fan or a Lorenzo fan. I would like to see Marquez pull off another title.

The title that would excite me the most is actually if Pedrosa would win... He's been there, or there about since he started, picking solid points every season. And he has close to as many race victories as Rossi after 2009...

having been a Rossi fan all my life, i'd think it's fair to say that i'm more brand loyal. so in this case, go JLo!

It's just never going to end folks. Mark has once and for all solidified that you can indeed, indefinitely beat a dead horse far past the point of death.

I'd like to see the old man win 10. I like to root for the underdog and it gives the younger guys something to strive for. Being competitive at his age says something about his skills. Regardless if you like VR or not he is good for MotoGP, Like Jordan was to NBA and Tiger woods to PGA.

I could care less for their personalities, crying, and talking crap but they excite me when they race. MM, VR, DP, MV and JO are all on anything planet when it comes to their riding skills.

Not really brand loyal.

i see you didnt vote but like to complain about the post. guess what like young r you can ignore me put me on block and dont read what i write.
its a legitimate question. there are some hard core rossi fans here that love ducati more than life. i would expect it to be a dilemma. these are the same people that bash stoner and is the only guy to win a world title on the bike. in the same breath say that it was the bike and not him but when rossi couldnt do it make an excuse saying it was the bike.

anyway i like to see the thought process of these people and it entertains me to endlessly. i also think its a great question.

This is a hard choice since I don't like JLo the most out of all of the riders and this is not because JLo vs Rossi. I dont like his character, personality and behavior.

I do like Rossi but not necessarily Yamaha that he rides on.

So if I HAD to pick one and decide based on objectivity...I will choose JLo with Ducati.

You forgot the third choice. I'm voting for Ducati. Not Rossi or Jlo. What's Jennifer Lopez doing in MotoGP anyways.

I hope that little Spaniard Pedrobot never wins a title.

Stoner's Vote: MotoGP?

Stoner: “Jorge is a Champion whether he wins or loses”

No one put money on the number 27 Ducati taking the title in 2007, but that’s exactly what Casey Stoner went on to do - keeping calm and carrying on under the kind of intense pressure that only comes with a title fight, and his first one no less. By his side that historic season was Cristian Gabarrini – now Track Engineer for Jorge Lorenzo - and the Italian and Australian look back at that historic year, as well as forwards to a new adventure: Stoner now test rider, and Gabarrini with a new Champion in the box.

First, what was it like taking that incredible first crown? For Stoner, a “dream season”, for Gabarrini – no words.

Cristian Gabarrini: “I have no words to describe it. It’s one of the best memories of my life. Especially because with Casey that year, with Ducati, everything was special.”

That season, certainly, marked a distinct turning point in the legend of Stoner, who was suddenly a big fish in the shark pool. After one more title, the Australian then headed into shock retirement at the age of 27, at the end of 2012. 2007 was when it all changed.

Casey Stoner: “To be honest the whole last part of that season was a blur. Because I went from basically being an unknown as far as popularity, and as far as what everybody expected from me during racing. So all of a sudden it all came to me in a big rush. To be honest, after we won the World Championship it was more a relief than a massive celebration for me.”

Fast-forward a decade and the roulette wheel has landed on red for someone else. The man who proved a key rival for Stoner after he moved up to MotoGP™ in 2008 is now following in his footsteps and preparing to race in red, giving Gabbarini the chance to work alongside another Champion – for the Italian, “something that can happen only once in your life.”

Once rival and now colleague, and a rookie turned Champion. Sharing the same colours with Lorenzo ten years on, what does Stoner make of the Lorenzo ready to line up in Qatar?

CS27: “Jorge has learnt a lot over the years. In his early years, I didn’t really like so much the character he was or the way that he rode with us. But there was a turning point in the later years and he changed completely. And his respect for everybody on the grid changed completely and my respect for him in turn. So since that moment I’ve had nothing but a huge amount of respect for him - whether he wins or loses, he’s a great Champion in that aspect.”

That did it. I voted and gave Lorenzo my vote (but Dovi will beat him :D).
