ECU BACK TO STOCK

Got a custom map, done by a local guy. But really not digging the map.

It has absolutely no engine brake, and I can’t adjust any into it, as the bike is already on EBC 1.

And even lost 4 miles top speed on the local track.

The question is, can I get the ECU back to stock map by taking it to the dealer?

Guarantees are no issues for me, just want it back to stock, to put another map on it.

I think EBC 3 us the least intrusive/braking.

Would think dealer can flash back. Can the guy who did the flash, not reflash for you?

Yes, the bike feels like if it was EBC 3

But it is set to EBC1, so I can’t dial any engine brake back in .

I like to have a bit of engine brake.

And top speed was like 4 miles lower than the termi map which only flaw was unstable idle, but I think they just Released a map to fix this.

Now I just want to go back to stock, and put that termi map on.

The local guy who tuned should pretty easily be able to flash it back to stock, or if it had a termi map just reflash it back to that

A dealer can put the OEM map back on the bike but needs to request authorities through Ducati to do so. If you paired T800 to your bike you should be able to just flash over whatever is on your bike right now. The T800 is actually a bit of a stupid device and will let you flash any map for that model bike onto it as long as the VIN matches.

Here are some news on the Ducati Performance maps for the under tail Akra 22/23 Panigale V4 model. Even in the new FULL Engine mode there are torque limitations applied up to 3rd gear.

In the OEM map the torque limitations is only applied in 1st gear in FULL mode.

The OEM Maps for the same bike on the other hand are peak power limited as well by about 10hp.

I am guessing your local tuner took the OEM base map and tuned it and did not know how to remove the peak power limit and that’s why you lost 4mph top speed.

Daniel kindly shared this news with me and asked if I'm interested in an updated/unrestricted map. I now have my bike mapped and will share my experience soon 👍
