Yesterday I did first track day on V4R. Basically stock but with full akra and SC1 slicks. Had previously been tracking my 1199s.
Short synopsis is wow! It felt rock solid across the board, the standard brake setup was surprisingly fine for what I threw at it.
A couple of times glancing down I couldnt believe the speedo indicated pace, at least 10-15kms per hour faster than on other bike. Wont know how accurate that is until I pull down the DDA data but seat of the pants it felt eager everywhere.
Didn’t have my airbag suit and so didn’t want to push too hard but it feels like I could spend years improving my technique to get as much of everything the bike has to offer I can manage!
