Motocorse makes the fork bottoms in 100 and 108 so theoretically you could get a new fork and swap the 108 bottoms for 100s and keep your current brake setup. Like BW said if you go full SBK front end you will need triple’s, axle, wheel spacers and potentially rotor spacers depending on the offset of your new 8k calipers. No big deal, easy to make but something to consider.

Hooked up with a local guy named Hans that gave me some really good coaching today…will make it a weekly thing….one session and I felt dramatic improvement of body position, throttle control, and managing slides.

This is the R forks with the k-tech through rod cartridges and the other is the Ohlins with the S fork's.
I'm not affiliated with k-tech but I can tell you they are the best forks I have ever used, unbelievable feedback and we haven't revalved them yet.

Did I just understand you correctly that Ktech makes/sells there through rod as carts you can put into the NIX30 V4S forks?

You’re about the 4th person that knows their .... that has raved about the KTech through rod setup.

Yes i believe they are available now, i have a set fitted to my V4R Ohlins forks for the past year, i will find out if they fit the S fork's.

Hey brother can you give me the exact name of the carts?

Or a link to them?

Lots if stuff at the Ktech website but nothing saying specifically through rod on a search

Ordered KTech TRDS carts today, thanks for the heads up on those.

Hooked up with a great local guy coaching on body position, throttle control, tip in etc …big help

I look goofy as hell with my big ass on that little bike but I crashed it half a dozen times learning to manage front and rear wheel slides and improve my overall mechanics with no consequence other than a few small bruises, mostly to my ego lol

Looks great!

If you go to the fgr300 superbike forks you need to change triple clamps and brakes and need to make a front axle, i would go with the cartridge kit and get them modified for a 130mm stroke (the cartridges are different between the R and the S) sounds like you have already gone down the Ohlins path but an option is the new k-tech through rod shock and cartridges would definitely be worth looking into. This is the fgr300 setup.

Hey Bruce, did you have the FKR 108 carts in there at one point?

If so what spring weight and other setting are different and by how much on the KTech TRDS carts?

Trying to get a feel for how close the spring rates and setting run to the Ohlins stuff.

We have one bike with the k-tech and a second one with the Ohlins, spring rates are the same for both as you would expect.

Much change in your compressing and rebound settings between the two?

I will post the settings were using, the k-tech is definitely more linear with the rebound and compression and one click makes a noticeable difference compared to the Ohlins where you need 2-3 to feel the difference
