So I called the next closest dealer to me (which is about two hours away) and explained the issue to him and his first thought was that when the tech "uploaded" the map the second time, he actually returned it back to stock. Which doesn't make a whole lot of sense given the fact that I tried to plug it in and load it and all it says is "map already present" and the only option is to exit. He also stated that with the 2014's there some type of diagnostic tool the dealers have to use to install upmaps on them apparently which he said is why I couldn't do it in my own garage.
So idk... I'm a bit confused to say the least. My plan at this point is to take it back to the dealer who installed the exhaust and uploaded the map twice and get them to try it again. If they can't get it to work then I'll try to send it back to the seller and see if he can try to pull the map off of his bike again and see if that works. Because my dealer swears up and down that either the map I have is on the bike or the map I have is the stock map meaning the guy I got it from never took it off of his bike before shipping it out. Sooooooo, idk.
