Has anyone with the SFs tried the GPS module yet? I've been filtering through the Panigale forums, and as useful as the information it provides for track days appears, I am on the fence with the $700+ price tag and need for activation through the dealer.
It is definitely interesting, and most of my track days will be at the same location so the data could be compared to see where I need improvement (everywhere, obviously).
Any experiences with its use and application would be appreciated.

There are a couple downsides to the GPS...
1. The detection circle is quite small in diameter. So you need to make sure your spots on track you choose for segment points is going to be on your line every lap or it will miss it.
2. If you choose a carbon tail, it takes a while to connect to the satellites and makes the range even smaller

I haven't tried them, or even checked the costs, but I've read a lot of comments advising people to buy an AIM or similar instead
