Very interested in this.
Can you ask for the old and new part numbers
Thank you! Especially interested in the part number for the new sensor.
part numbers from my invoice:
old - 55215484c
new - 55244421a
Looks like the old one had 2 revisions before they went to a completely new one.
Thanks for these.

Not yet. Will ask my dealer.Do you have a copy of the TSB? My bike is still in the shop awaiting parts.....
New info: the TSB is for what they are calling a “dock” to which the gear position sensor will be attached to, allowing for airflow (and cooling) to the gear position sensor such that it does not fail as a result of overheating from the engine case. No new part number for the gear position sensor itself but as part of the TSB, they send a new sensor.
Any confirmation on the TSB #? Also curious if you have a picture of the new sensor design? I've been plagued with this issue since September. The dealer said they could not replicate the issue and turned me away...New info: the TSB is for what they are calling a “dock” to which the gear position sensor will be attached to, allowing for airflow (and cooling) to the gear position sensor such that it does not fail as a result of overheating from the engine case.
