Help with side stand.

I had problems operating side stand, ordered a universal mirror and cut down to suit. Fitted 3mm thick rubber sleeve between clamp and side stand and it works great.

I found it impossible wearing my Sidi track boots. Holding the front brake, I just reach down with my left hand.

I thought I was the only one.

The first time I went for the stand I was like, "crap... did it fall off?!!?" Even to this day I still have to look down and use my heel. Maybe in another 5,000 miles I'll get it figured out. Its funny how I suck at the silliest things in life. at least its not the important things. oh wait...

Try using the heel's impact protection bit, not the sole of the heel.
That is my trick. i also use Sidi vortice.

Use your heel to lower it and your toe to raise it. Simplest and safest.
