The latest photo...with Stoner in Valencia

That doesn't look porky :)

And regarding the exhaust:
Not many I know retain the stock pipes on a DUC.

I have as much right to make comments on something in the public domain as you do, so back off.

You seem to be irritated or offended by people wanting to discuss something. Guess what, a forum's not the best place to avoid that.

Maybe that is why you do not work for Ducati anymore. That is if you ever did.

I think you and Endodoc are in the same league.

You nailed it, I was fired for commenting on a public photo. In the dream I had in which I worked there.

You sound like exactly the kind of Ducati customer I really miss interacting with. Enjoy your ego machine.

Kinda hard to hate it when Stoner is pitching it sideways into a corner. Hell, they could do that with a Multistrada and I'd suddenly find it beautiful.

We all know you're an imposter! Ha ha! That's what I thought when we chatted at the dealer meeting a couple years ago, "I'll bet this guy doesn't even WORK for Ducati"! :D:D

Looking back through some of the early official 1098 development photos, many of which were shot in the same area of the factory as the recent V4 pictures, there were at least three variants shown. Amongst them was one cloaked in a 998 frame and bodywork, another in 999 bodywork and also a D16RR with a complete 999 back end and sub-frame. Does that make the recent V4 pics authentic? Yes, in the sense that its a real bike but not necessarily in the clothing it will finally end up in. That's my view. Subterfuge at it's best.

The recent photo of Stoner "conveniently" shows you everything yet nothing at the same time, since about the only thing that's easily distinguishable is the new rear light and a partial view of the enormous exhaust. Not much to go one but then we can expect more teasers such as these to crop up, as November draws closer. Typical M.O. from the Bologna marketing machine. Whoever took the photo would have had ample opportunity to take it from a far more revealing angle judging by it's clarity, which smacks of collusion. Even Stoner can't out-ride a decent camera's shutter speed. Chaz Davies has also been testing the bike so we'll possibly see yet more indeterminate images surface soon.

This day in age with the quality of camera's in mobile phones, action cams and even smart watches, why do all these static spy shots seem to be taken with a potato? and no auto photoshop either.

maybe its Illuminati or aliens...

Because it wasn't a 4k HDR potato....... don't you know nothing?!

I don't think the exhaust canister will necessarily be that heavy; it's just volume - a bigger tank if you will to keep sound decibels down without hurting performance. A little heavier, yes but it's more air than anything else.
