That doesn't look porky
And regarding the exhaust:
Not many I know retain the stock pipes on a DUC.
Mine are still stock

That appears to have been done by Kar Lee. From what I can remember His images seem to turn out to be fairly accurate!
Still looks fat........
You know what is by far the most disappointing stuff on this new bike (even assuming that they still have a way to make it look nicer)? It's all that Euro 4 garbage. I don't know how easy it will be to get rid of that. Things like those huge exhaust boxes seem heavily integrated into the shape of the body work.
I mean, look at the R/FE and look at how awesome it would be if it didn't have that stupid heavy foot locker at the bottom? Even if Akra made a race exhaust with the same cool outlets, what could fill that space? You'd need some kind of belly pan and that would need some kind of integration brackets, etc.
That ship has sailed, unfortunately. The environmental lobbies have won that battle with extreme prejudice. You're going to see not only fewer aftermarket exhaust options, but you're going to see the manufacturers putting electronic measures in place to ensure that the bike won't even run if the emissions components are removed.
Ducati should do direct factory sales of skinning track packages with "off road use only label" I think the Ducati customer are willing and able to pay for it.
I sure hope they offer other colors than just boring ass red.
Obviously they're offering matte black......
Black always make you like slimmer.
Im hearing rumours that because the original designer of the V4 project left the comapny half way through development, Ducati went with the supersport/panigale as their next best compromise, having run out of time to alter course. If this is true, then what we've seen so far, is probably what we are going to get. This does not bode well.
