How Do You Guys Deal With The Heat????

mr "immortal" (?!), nothing special nor new about 'your' problem.
In fact, many other Duc's and other Superbikes from other brands have similar issues.

Next time please do a proper "Ducati+Panigale+V4+heat" search and add your personal experiences there instead of opening yet another new topic? #lazy
Sorry but this topic is just another repetition of what many more across the internet have been discussing over and over about the PV4. ZZZzzz
Yours even includes a hilarious Tuono troll. #SadBrandBashing

I really don't understand why people are again and again taken by surprise about these heat 'issues' with high performance combustion engines designed for and derived from racing?!
Just race the bloody thing, toughen up a/o appreciate her "bodyheat"? After-all pain is just an emotion.;)
Simply choose to perceive it as a given, remedy it or buy something boring (eBike)?...

This is what I did and works just fine: engine heat

nJoy your smoking hot Bella!;)

I did try to do a search for the heat issues but came up empty. Don’t know why. I have owned ZX 10’s, 5 Yamaha R1’s in the past and a multitude of lower cc bikes. Currently own an R1M and a 1299S and nothing I have ever owned came remotely close to the heat the V 4 generates. Surprised me that’s all.

I have already adjusted my riding style to accommodate and do plan on enjoying my new hot Italian.

Wasn’t my intention to rehash old topics but do appreciate the info and laughs.

Got a chuckle reading this thread. I'll be getting that full exhaust ASAP. My first 50+ mile ride on the V4R was yesterday and I couldn't believe how hot it was. Granted I just had regular jeans on not my riding ones. I'd "heard about it on Ducatis" but figured people were just being sissies lol. I am now a Sissie too. I was able to cool off my hamstrings somewhat by adjusting the position. I figured the emissions crap was making things bad. The suggestions here pretty much confirm that. But mine will be a track convert before too long but I reckon I would enjoy it in street trim in the meantime.

Just to confirm bc all the 1299 guys say that is a hot bike but I can ride my 1299 in shorts no worries but my V4 gave me blisters for trying.

I heard the Carbon Fiber subframe is god at reducing heat cause it doesn’t heat soak like the factory one. There are some other tricks but for real just ride the bike and enjoy it with the right gear on

in 1 word, hows your new bike?

i'm new to the panigale and had the exact same initial experience - like "wtf?!" lol. it's way hotter than my turbo gsxr 1000 which really surprised me. it's not a problem on track, but street riding when temps are over 80 or so it's annoying.

re: exhaust - there's another active thread discussing this and some folks have observed no discernible difference after going aftermarket exhaust, and the ducati employee i bought my bike from said the R is even hotter than the base and S.
