Guys just a comment on Cycle Pro and Yaman's customer service .. It was so professional and he really guided me helped tremendously with the post sale of the RB race module and RB Quick Shifter....
Glad to do more business with him in the future !

At the end of it all the bike should be tuned, if you're tuning the bike its better to have the map in the ecu modified rather than an add-on module.

I use tuneboy and am perfectly happy with it and try to stay away from piggyback systems. With Tuneboy I have more flexibility than the piggyback systems and I can set the map back to factory at any time. Plus you get the added features like cruise control and can add clutchless downshifting and still be cheaper than PCV.

My only complaint is that support could be better but with a little patience you'll find it works well with the panigale.

At the end of it all RapidBike does not need to be tuned ! and yes going into your ecu might be a better action for some people but not every one wants to change the settings of the ECU. But yes it is nice to have a cruise and clutchless down shift again for some people, personally I don't cruise on Panigale
Thanks for your input :)

So my dealer is an authorized Rexxer tuner. They charge $395 "for most bikes". Figure for the Panigale it's $500 just to be safe.

What would be the pros/cons of the RB module or the Rexxer dyno tune?

My bike is out of warranty so that is not a concern for me. I want the technically best solution.

I don't really know what rexxer flash actually does (anyone) I mean specifically item by item detailed (again anyone, please let me know if you do) so since I think one of the futures are turning off the O2 sensors then your Rapidbike won't be able to make adjustments all the time and apply those changes for CHANGING ENVIRONMENT conditions in a full time manner, so I am not sure if both are a good idea since we don't know if rexxer does anything with ignition timing and such.

Well it is up to you to decide..... a lot of good info here at the forum so.....

If thats the case then Tuneboy or Rexxer doesn't need to be tuned either as it comes with maps for the bike. To get the best from any setup tuning/custom mapping is needed.

Hy guys,

Rb easy should be a good option for panigale with k&n filter and oem exhaust decat?

Thank you YTURAN for all this information.

I just wanted to give you some feedback how life is in Switzerland.
What I need/search/love to have is a plug and play solution. Just remove the OEM parts, plug in the new stuff and have a faster/cooler bike!

There are only a few tuners around me (300km) that are trustworthy.
Dynoing a bike is not like in the US, it's like starting a NASA project.

What would I need to buy/install to get a more performant Panigale without having the bike "tuned" by some beer-drinking cat-raping guys around the distance I mentioned?

You can either get the racing or evo system and , I can guarantee you won't need dyno tuning, as long as you are willing to explore RB master software , we can help you out with setting and such.

So, it's RB EVO DUCATI PANIGALE 1199 ALL $680.00 for street usage?
Installation instructions included to do it DIY?

Order it. When I get it, let you know how diffucult/easy was installation and how motor working.. going Bresse track next sunday, hope get before that..and if not , least can test dijon track next month...
Ps. Do you try Tom Hauri? He is not far for you (aargau). He has dyno, and lot of experience ducati motors. He tuned my 1098, and no bad things to say.

YTURAN,

Based on the differences you described from the EVO to RACE system, is the RACE really going benefit the Panigale on the street?

Thanks

In general, according to Italy, Dimsport RapidBike , some bikes are greatly benefit from advanced ignition timing, due to manufacturers warranty policies, warranty and liability purposes as far as what they have seen was, S1000RR, 1199, 899, Aprilia RSv4, cbr1000rr , most ktms and almos all of bmw boxer engines are purposely limited by ignition timing,

If we just look at the 1199 ignition map in the software and how it was mapped explains a lot if things, tomorrow I wll try to post up some screen shots of it......

Thank you Sutki!
Checked his website, it seems he's familiar with tuneboy.
Are you going to install RB yourself?
I am very interessted for your feedback!

The closed loop section is not adjustable with the RB either, at least not extensively.
