How many miles over did you go before first service?

Just a quick question, how many miles did you go over before you got the first service done? did you still stay under 6K RPM's until you got it serviced? or did you just start ripping on the throttle?

I got really lazy and went almost 1000 miles over the 600 mile service interval. In my defense, I babied the bike until I got it done and never took it above 6k.

Wow....another 1st service thread.

For what it's worth, I went about 3 miles over and exceeded 6k only a few times. Those few times were minimal and occurred mostly on the over-rev during downshifts.

Around 4,000 miles on, the bike consumes no measurable quantity of oil and runs quite well enough for me.

I went 1004 kms before the first service.
If I went over 6000 rpm I wasn't aware of it, and didn't knowingly go over 7000 rpm in the following 1500 kms.
Oil consumption in the first 1000 kms was probably about 80 ml so I didn't bother to top up.
Oil consumption at the last oil change (6000 kms) was 230ml, and to date seems to be still trending down.

It's by the book for me, and it's all good.

First service at 1088km. First redline at 50km, and plenty thereafter.

Exactly. I was unable to book my first service until the 31st of this month, so we'll see how many km I put on until then. Also hit redline in wet mode probably under 100km, easily. Now I hit redline every day on 1 wheel in 195lo.

900 miles before first service. over 6k everytime i rode. once the line moved so did my rpm. no problems with the bike.

675 miles and dealer picked up from my house. Had oil changed again at 4,000 miles. Right now I'm at 4700 miles and I've just finally learned about that oil sight hole and found that i'm already on the low mark... at 700 miles past a change i'm that low...?

The race bike had plastics installed at delivery, loaded onto the trailer, and redlined from mile 1 on. Runs beautifully, no smoke, no oil burned, and smooth as silk.
