I'm 5'9" with a 32" inseam. I have the comfort seat and have no problem flat footing.
These seats are very much a matter of individual taste--I actually prefer my comfort seat to the stock R seat and to the race seat at the track.
I've done 600 mile 12 hour days on the road with the DP comfort seat--no discomfort.
