Glad to hear you got sorted out rather quickly. If you hear anything, let us know. Although, I'm sure you may be in the dark at this point and they will want to keep it under wraps for the time being.
 
I highly doubt they would give you any REAL info about what really happened to the bike. Instead, they would probably have a recall to fix the actual issue and maybe give you some made up one off excuse, especially since they gave you a brand new bike.

My question is, did they end up replacing your aftermarket items as well?

Woooo! congrats on getting a replacement so fast and your positive attitude! It boggles my mind how you got that replacement so fast, yet we haven't got our first delivery of base models in victoria BC! crazy!

best of luck with the replacement man!
 
Damn, that was fast. I'm still waiting on deliver of my first one. Seems like Richmond is more on-the-ball than Vancouver with their deliveries.

Also super curious as to how your first one combusted like that but I doubt Ducati will release it publicly unless it's something that warrants a larger recall.
 
Congrats on the new bike.....again [emoji38]. I'm glad they took care of you so quickly. My dealer still doesn't have any customer bikes, just the demo one [emoji20]

This is awesome! That was the least they could have done for you. Did they make you sigh NDA and asked you to remove your post and not discuss any details?
