Thanks Rob.

I had found it by google but my Italian is a little rusty (non-existent).

Reading the description, it looks like the piece is Carbon fiber. Is that the case?

New line designed and produced by Flamingo Racing Bike accessory for those who want a very high level and extreme ease of assembly. This new line parts is produced with double layer fabric and is reinforced with carbon in the points of higher stress such as: accommodation screws, hooks and, generally, all the points of greatest load. The painting is done with original colors, everything is protected by applying several coats of clear, colors are vivid and bright.

Thanks Rob.

The cheap ones (for tightarses like me) are fibreglass. There are ones made of CF (around $400?) that looks the bomb.

They also have unpainted white gelcoat fibreglass as the cheapest one ($150?) which I bought and canspraypainted. Given good primer, good spray, and cut-and-polish, some people couldn't even tell it is aftermarket. (maybe ducati paint quality is that bad, lol! Im not an expert painter!)

Do the full tank covers not scratch up the actual tank underneath?

As instructed, I coated my whole tank with masking tape first.
To go further, I also taped a couple of microfibre towels on the inside of the tank cover. They act both as cushions and also a lot softer (than the roughness of fibreglass). I also taped the outside of fuel cap with electrical tape (black looks nice).
Two months after putting that on, I had a lowside at around 70kph round a sweeper due to sudden heavy rain at the track.
Tank was immaculate.
The cover had quite a scratch (exactly around the part that the little tank sliders would protect), and a 1cm crack at the bottom of one side, but that's about it. I'm still using it.

You have 1 left? Or please tell me the producer of this slider.. Thanks a lot!

Got mine! Look beautiful... Since it's still chilly I haven't installed them yet, but sizing them up it looks like no matter what I do there's a small gap at the front and rear edge of these... What did you guys do to make sure that the whole slider properly adheres to the tank?

I heated mine up a bit with a hair dryer before applying the aquarium sealant and it allowed me to form fit them perfectly..

What brand are the sliders that say Ducati on them. I can't seem to find them anywhere. Thank in advance

Hey guys what do you use to keep the slider on the tank? 3m tape?

i have 3M tape under them right now, not so good ...

i think some adhesive along the inner perimeter would be better.

I was thinking using aquarium adhesive like some people mention above have mention but not sure if it'll damage the tank

Use the silicone aquarium sealant. Think of the tank damage without the sliders when it goes down.
