Hello all,

I was wondering anyone have any suggestions maybe on some settings or tricks as to how to keep this beast on the ground in 1st and 2nd gear? I cant seem to do it. Any input would help. Thanks

Pretty sure there is no foolproof way to keep it down apart from the obvious throttle control. Other than that I:

- always throw my weight forward when I pin it!
- stiffened up the rear so it doesn't squat under acceleration hastening front wheel lift
- Use 195lo instead of 195Hi to bring the power on more smoothly

I found that as I became used the fierce power it wheelied less simply because i was compensating for these things.

I guess its a super bike, thats what they do :)

Thanks for the info, I was wondering if I use 195lo will it still be the same power as 195hi? Or is it less power? Also do you do anything with traction control settings?

-2 Sprocket in the rear, +1 in the front should help. If not, fill the top of the airbox with steel wool. :)

Open the throttle smoothly. Read the manual re the hi and lo 195. Its the same power just different feel to the response.

It must be fun watching you take off from the lights.

Nothing your weight forward, especially rider against and over the tank can t solve,,

Could gain weight and it will stay down. Worked for me :D

Actually the opposite helps. A heavier rider raises the CG and makes a bike more prone to wheelie. Why do you think the Stunta's do standups? Heck, you can power wheelie a PW50 standing on the seat. No more twinkies for you! :p

To the OP, as noted by others there are a few things you can do; sitting forward, getting your head/torso forward and down while weighting the pegs rather than the seat, and smoother throttle app is about all you can do. And yes, 195LO is the same power as 195Hi, which is of course why they both say 195... ;)

Bottom line, bike has a lot of poke. There's a reason why all high-end electronics packages have wheelie control.

When the front comes up just touch the rear break a bit and you are back down again.

^ +1 Thanks, we all forgot the obvious one. Manual wheelie control, and all bikes come with it.

I'm starting a thread on how to keep this bike under 80mph. No matter how hard I try, what road I'm on, my driveway, I am going at least 80 (sometimes even over 100 if you can believe that). Any help here is appreciated.

turn up the traction control it will sense the front wheel spinning less then the back and cut power. i trust thats what you want lol

I have found the combination of extra fluff around the midsection and the Colorado altitude power loss help.

Cool, thanks everyone. I was trying to see everyones opinion, I'm trying to run it at the dragstrip therefore I need to utilize all the power I can get but when I try it in 1st and 2nd the damn thing doesnt stay on the ground so I cant get a good run. I was just wondering if anyone figured something out. Once I mess with it alot and get a good run the way I want I will post a video. Anyone have drag race videos?

I guess I need to change that, all my settings are on 195HI, lol. Yes, watching me take of from the lights is rather amusing. :D:D

Really; this must be joke.
I don't have any issue keeping the front wheel on the ground when I want it there; just DON'T TWIST THE THROTTLE AS QUICKLY! Basic throttle control.
I have had the front wheel hover a few inches off the ground when passing a car and shifting into third, but nothing of great height and nothing a dab on the back break can't fix.
