Kraaitech oil drain for bellypan

Since I have one Pani currently torn appart, I did some pictures.
You can use the OEM drain bolt on the KraaiTech adaptor, but you have to drill holes for the safety wire into it (easy job, plug is aluminium, see picture 1). There are also some plugs on the market for the Panigale that are already predrilled.

It's the tool access that changes for oil change, from vertical to horizontal. That's one benefit. The other benefit is that you have a point to safety wire your drain plug.

nice set-up and (as usual) nice hardware. Did you manufacture your bolts for the sump or had them manufactured? I'd like to do the same.

Ducatidetroit is the new US distributor. I was told to go through him from kraaitech. Let's hope he will throw us a bone and let us do the group buy through him. That would be the right thing to do ;)
We did have this ball rolling before he spoke up.

I use normal race spec'd Titanium hex bolts. Most ones on the engine block are M6. But even then it gets a bit expensive :(
What I found is that Ti bolts with one 2mm wire hole in the head are much cheaper than with three holes. But you still have to expect USD 6.- per bolt...
The bike you see is my SL. Currently I try to bring her dry weight down to 150kg. Tough job but funny :)

FYI - I just sent them a PM to see if they are going to pick-up the ball and facilitate a group buy. I asked them to reply to this thread one way or the other.

In my impatience, I mounted a pvc plug onto my oil pan that allows for access to the drain bolt without removing oil pan. Here's the pic. #bikepoor

Thanks for your patience. It has taken us a little bit to get the details sorted out.

We've actually been talking to Kraaitech for quite some time about possibly distributing their product. They are great folks who run a first rate racing program. We're happy to help facilitate this.

Price will be $55 shipped to your door for the drain plug. It will come with printed detailed installation instructions.

We are still waiting on pricing for the Sebimoto belly pan with plug. You can obviously make these on your own, but some may find it easier to just purchase the piece ready to go. I'll have pricing on this very soon.

To start, we are only receiving 9 drain plugs. They are producing more, but they won't be done for a few weeks. This isn't big business and they are only going to make so many at a time.

I have an immediate need for 3 for our in-house race bikes, leaving 6 available immediately. If someone is in desperate need of one and will be racing in a WERA, CCS, AFM, AHRMA, CMRA or MRA event, please let me know. I may be able to move something around for you.

Based on the thread that Caleb started in the Mechanical forum, the order in which people replied showing interest are as follows:

Phl
wfoduck
AG6
0612Devil
Styler
Maslov
getdowngetfunky
b9009b
madmaxmenon
slickwill

The first batch is shipping from Europe tomrrow, Thursday the 16th.

For payment arrangements, email me directly.

Thank you Kevin.
I have sent you an email.
I am curious; can the plug for the Sebimoto belly-pan be used on a third-party belly-pan? (I just purchased a woodcraft pan recently.)

I'm told it will work on the armour bodies. We just need to drill an access hole for the drain bolt. I have the same body work. They also supply a plug for the hole we need to drill. I think the bellypan they are producing has this already done.
