Apologies but unable to scan/upload but in a 4-way shootout with the HP4, RSV and MV, 1199r comes top, although it was set up by the factory.
Finally collecting mine may 11th with some choice goodies being fitted as we speak.

Be nice to know what the factory settings were!! Was the test for the road or track or both

Purely the track and the only criteria was which was fastest. Apparently after the S lost the shoot out at the track against the BMW last year Ducati tested there to find out why. The R was specifically setup for this test whereas none of the other bikes were so not really a level playing field IMO.

Times
Panigale R 146.7
BMW HP4 147.7
Aprilia RSV4 149.8
MV F4RR 153.9

Actually, I do read articles on my phone, but hopefully the app is available for download on my iPad. Thanks for the info.

Why is it awesome? Do you think that 60 means you have a foot in the grave?
Im 54 now and expect my next bike to be more aggressive than my 1199. Respect your elders but remember that they are the same as you young wippersnappers.

That's funny... I am 54 too... so my point was that its great to be joined by fellow more "mature" riders... :p

53 here...

justed booked myself in Donington, Cadwell and Brands Hatch after Francorchamps and Assen.. :)

let me tell you : it's now or never.... :)

i think the playground are fair.. its what that bike can do... since the 1098 the verdicts have always been: at the end of the line... general comment : ' as it leaves the factory, it's no good... ' 'heavy steering, hard work, steady but slow'....

so let's not overvalue 'the factory either... anyone can do it... now at the push of a button...

The 1199 is no longer at the end of the line. As that bike every one want to get back at WSBK: the 1198..

And what is even better: it think a 2013 S would come second in that line up.. :)

You Kids Get Off My Lawn!

I'm 74 (but I'll be 75 before my R gets here). Been riding for 60 yrs. Time to move up from my 916SP and GSXR1000.
I hope to get in a few more track days....
