More crying and bellyaching from Rea

to him he’s always riding brilliantly and is never him .. a weight limit is a stupid idea , the only one that has that noticeable difference is Bautista , Rinaldi & Bassani not as much and I’m sure Bautista has his struggle due to his size. Plus i like how Rea said the ZX is 17000 as aren’t they using the RR which I thought was around 25000 still a lot less than the 40000 of the V4R but that’s on Kawasaki not ducati

Yea, if Kawasaki was "just a streetbike" and the Ducati is a "racebike" then how does he win over 7 seasons on his bike?

I think his comments are another shot at Bautista frankly. I'm old enough and have been following WSB long enough to remember that Kawasaki wasn't even in this game for many years.

And when the 916 and 998 series bikes had lead weights added to reduce their "effectiveness" on the track. Can't wait for that guy to retire from racing with all his Tissot Watches.

I agree with Rea that they should get their revs back. Kawa only gets 14.6k whereas Ducati is at 16.1k. I think they take max rpm from homologated bike and start decreasing it by 250 rpm. I mean that's why you have max hp not at the top end but a few k less than redline

^ Yea, interesting how WSB management came up with that solution. This years racing has been good, close and with a variety of teams at the front. And they have 3-4 different compounds of tire choices as well? (SC0, SC1, SCQ,
SCX? After watching this season it would appear that tire choice impacted a 21 lap race more than ducati's strength down the front straights.

I like Rea but I think he is sour because he got his ... handed to him last year and this year! Btw nobody was bitching when he was cleaning up everything for 7 seasons!

Rea is and will always be the best superbike rider in the series. He also is not the only one mentioning that the Ducati is by far the fastest bike on the straights. We all know it, if you watch the series you will see it. I laugh at the comments when people say but Bautista is the only Ducati at the front etc etc but Toprak is the only Yamaha consistently at the front likewise is Rea on the Kawasaki. Bautista isn’t doing anything wrong but he has got a massive advantage which is taking away from the series and the racing. They need to give Kawasaki and Yamaha their revs back And make some adjustments to the rider and bike combined weight limits. For example when was the last time you seen Bautista out brake Rea or toprak? When was the last time you seen him pass in a corner? He only passes where he has a huge advantage on the straights. And on the tyre compound argument the reason Toprak and Rea are harder on there tyres is that they are both trying to make up the half second advantage Bautista has on the straights through the rest of the lap.

Or Yamaha and Kawasaki could develop bikes with more power. 🤷‍♂️

Why would Bautista have to out brake Rea or Toprak? Why would that technique make any sense when he has the fastest bike in the straights. Same with passing in a corner. Why would you take that risk when you can walk away from them in the straights?

You’ve kinda answered your own question here, because he has the unfair advantage in the straights!

And if they gave Yamaha and Kawasaki their revs back that they took off them they would be a lot closer in the straights! 250rpm for Yamaha and 500rpm for Kawasaki. I am not against Ducati I own one lol but I am one for fair racing and they do have a massive advantage. Either reduce the revs on the Ducati or give Yamaha and Kawasaki back there’s it’s easy really.

Yeah bro, I know the answer to the question...that wasn't the point.

Piss on the lazy engineering. Its racing, not pee wee baseball.

So why can’t ducati have all their revs if other manufacturers can have all their revs? And if riders want bike parity, why not race a one-make series or SSTK?
