Motocorse Ti Exhaust system

My Peugeot's turbo manifolds use lobster welding and my CW slip on too. Does this mean somebody will now fork over $1 000.00 for my CW slip ons? :D

I don't know if this system is worth it from a practical (heat) or performance point of view, but from an esthetic point of view it's beyond compare! Like Mutt1979 says, it does bring a tear or three to my moto bling loving eyes!
Thank you for sharing jock, and do keep us posted with riding/performance reports

List price on the web site is as follows:
Price: € 3.200,00 tax excluded
Usually ships in: 5/6 days subject to availability
Accepted payments: Transfer, Credit Card, Paypall

The purchase process is very different with motocorse. You place an order and then they send you a shipping cost, then proceed with the order . The price was 3200euros = $4678 AU plus it was 120 euros with TNT. They shipped it the same day and It took 4 days from italy to South Australia.

Everything in the box was triple bubble wrapped, labelled and double boxed (probably doubled the freight weight )

All up it was just shy of $5000 AU. The main reason I bought direct was that Bellisimoto are asking $6000AU. That's a big difference. Especially if I do require a heat shield, they are another $900.

Crikey and that's the price without any cans!
I'm chuffed with my full Akro at £2500, however your pipes are pure sex :D

No one has asked but I'm more curious how this "pure sex" look will look once it goes through its heat cycles and the final color sets in.

From what I have seen on YouTube the colouring from the front pipe stops halfway along the horizontal header. I'll post some more pics after a good ride.

it all depends how hot you get the pipe.

Also try to make sure the pipe is clean before you start the bike for the 1st time. the oils in your hands will stain the pipe when it starts to change colour.

Also you find after time the blue may change to a yellowish colour.

easiest way to get the colour is to electroplate it

Lobster tail is hard to beat in the looks department.
Very nice.
What slipons you going to use?

All,

Just fitted the Motocorse Ti exhaust system to the Termi cans today. Fitments was easy and alignment was perfect.

It might not be everyone's cup of team, but I think it looks awesome. Unfortunately the photos don't do it justice.

I haven't ridden it yet, so don't know about performance, but this bike doesn't see the track. To be honest it is just about the look.

The finish is amazing and the quality of the welding is second to none. It is a work of art on its own.

Hopefully others will enjoy the look aswell.

Termi ;)

Jock:
That exposed pipe under your but will likely burn the body work directly above it.

I'm hoping not. There is an inch to spare. I know the radiant heat is a lot, but the standard horizontal header runs within 3mm of the lower fairing and it is all ok. Fingers crossed it's all ok, if not, heat shield it is .

definitely artwork. I just can't bring myself to spend an additional however many thousands on a set of collector pipes to save 2.5lbs....it'd have to be for the aesthetics alone.

Hey Jock, just wondering if you got a chance to take it out on the weekend or if you have any updates.

Cheers

Hi JT,
I did get out for a bit, but not long. (To me) it feels the same once opened up. I don't have the expertise to notice the small changes. However at low revs it is more rough, and probably will need tuning. It has been crappy weather here in Adelaide for weeks now, and the roads in the hills have that light green moss which sucks.

The sound is very different now. It almost had 2 simultaneous sounds. The first is a constant tappet like sound underneath the ever changing growl of increased revs. Also gone is the small backfire I used to love going from first to second using the QS.

No damage to any fairings on the rear, which is good.

I still have 2 more weeks of leave left, so if the weather is good I'm hanging out for a ride.

Thanks for the update Jock, how did the heat go, or have you fitted the shield?
