Thanks for the update Jock, how did the heat go, or have you fitted the shield?

No issue with the heat on the rear fairings under the seat. You can feel the top RHS loop when you stop, but not when riding.

At this stage NO cover required...yeah!!

Thanks for taking the time to ask how the new exhaust went, much appreciated.

That's a win mate, great that you don't have to cover them up, it is a beautiful looking bit of kit.

Thanks mate.

Wow; pure bike porn.
I searched their site to get more info. It looks like you can get the set-up with the Akrapovic cans as well.

"Motocorse front pipes kit is completely made of 1 mm. titanium plates.
It allows a weight saving of 34% (1,16 Kg) compared to the original one.
The curves are built joining together many segments with special weldings called "LOBSTER TAIL" type.
The tubes have a development that reaches a diameter of 75 mm.
Motocorse titanium front pipes kit "Lobster tail" is exclusively dedicated to Ducati Panigale 1199 bikes who installed Akrapovic racing silencer.

D75 Titanium front pipes kit for 1199 with Akrapovic silencer - Motocorse - parti speciali ducati, mvagusta e bmw, ammortizzatori e forcelle ohlins, freni brembo, cerchi marchesini

Thanks for starting this thread.

Jock it is gorgeous dude... Good to hear no additional heat issues.. Now im thinking does it melt the fairing at all?

Hey Jock

Any updates on heat related issues (mainly to the fairings) in the meantime?
I still love this exhaust. Your bike is AWESOME!

Hi Gecko,

Thank you for your kind words.

Unfortunately no. I was only home for 1 day and then the family and I went to Hawaii for 3 weeks, then home for 1 day and now I'm back offshore (1st world problems :)).

I get off on the 13th October for 6 weeks, where summer is rapidly approaching, kids at school, so 10:00 to 14:00 riding time aplenty, so I'll let you know if there are any issues.

Cheers

Mark

Thank you so much for your response!
The point for asking is this: I could imagine to install this tube to my SL. Its subframe is CF and I don't want to get any thermal destruction of it. I couldn't find any heat protecion cover on motocorse's website and I am wondering whether the rear tube would fit under the 2015 R or SL's protective cover.

All,

Just fitted the Motocorse Ti exhaust system to the Termi cans today. Fitments was easy and alignment was perfect.

It might not be everyone's cup of team, but I think it looks awesome. Unfortunately the photos don't do it justice.

I haven't ridden it yet, so don't know about performance, but this bike doesn't see the track. To be honest it is just about the look.

The finish is amazing and the quality of the welding is second to none. It is a work of art on its own.

Hopefully others will enjoy the look aswell.

It looks realy nice. I only hope there will be no cracking after some time. All exhausts on the Panigale crack just nextt to the weld in the Heat Affected Zone and there are quite some welds in this pipe. Make sure it fits really well without any stresses and tension! If you are riding it only on the road, it should all work fine :)

Need to find out if it was welded in a purged chamber or not. If it was, I wouldn't be worried about it cracking. I'm definitely interested at that price point though. $3500 with Akra silencer seems like a deal.

Wasn't a sprocket nut, was the sprocket flange. Cnc racing titanium. I won't put his name on blast but he's a well known member. He can comment for himself if he views the thread lol

Hi Kraai,

I haven't heard of anyone's exhaust, let alone ALL exhausts, cracking on the panigale.
As for the fit, it was effortless, absolutely perfect fit. It was absolutely no tension or forcing to get anything to align.

Hi Gecko,

Motocorse will supply a Gloss of Matt CF cover for $800AU, but it is a 2 month lead time. Bellisimoto have them in stock for $900US, and I think there are pics on their website.
I appreciate you want to protect the subframe, but from the pics it pretty much covers all the exhaust.

Once I fitted the exhaust I had a play around and butchered my old CF exhaust cover for the standard exhaust. I got it to fit and go over the pipes, but it just didn't sit well with me.

Cheers

I did not use the right wording, it should be: If the crack, they crack next to the weld. During my last race weekend, we had 4 akrap's cracking on 4 different bikes!

Today I ordered their Ti Pani exhaust pipes including a special CF heat shield for the SL, and their Monster's "Due Gemelli Dvxi" for my girlfriends bike.
Thank you Jock for your valuable information.

@Mitchlguzin: I am broke now :(

(I just love this lobster welding stuff)

Holy crap...I feel completely broke on this site when I see dudes dropping $3000-6000 on exhaust's and ball ticklers

=(

It's called VISA.....just hit the BUY button.

Trust me there is something addictive about improving this bike, like no other I have ever owned. But at the end of the day I do appreciate how much it costs and can never justify to anyone else other my myself.
