Mate you do understand that gearing affects engine braking and ability to control wheelies? Maybe not on a straight runs to Starbucks, but gearing you use at Mugello is quite orthogonal to what you use at Jerez.

Of course. Since I went up 2 in the front but down 6 in the rear I lowered the anti-squat a bit (would need to draw it to see magnitude). But I've added anti-squat by raising the rear. With respect to the engine braking you can manipulate it by altering the drop throttle in the EVT maps. So you can add engine braking if required. I tripped over this when I was working on something else. I wouldn't run this gearing on a track bike anyway. Nor my set-up. And I'd have to take the bags off. For traveling in the west though it is the perfect gearing. Pulls really hard from 45, and when are you really going less than 45 (marked 15 mph corner?). Eventually everyone will stop giving me grief about my gearing.
