You have another thread where you are disseminating disinformation. I am choosing to avoid all of that. I know that you get a kick out of trolling, baiting, and flaming lately. I think it’s sad but that’s certainly your prerogative. If you want to discuss MotoGP and Ducatis then you have my contact info. If not, ride safe.

Ah your right. Hopefully it all works out. I did get the insurance on everything so if it goes south, I’m covered.

Still have my tickets from April of 2020, the nice VIP treatment (best bang for the buck I have found, F1 is <3x more expensive with a much crappier show), gonna be bummed to cancel everything if they kill the race.

I will be there. I have an RV spot in Lot N so I can stay the weekend. My good friend, Jeff Purk, MotoAmerica Superbike racer will be sitting with me at Turn 15. He races on Gerloff's championship Yamaha now, but I think he secretly wants to ride a Ducati again.

I just listened to latest paddock pass podcast. It’s a great podcast if anyone is curious. Anyway, the presenters explained that they are optimistic that Austin will not be canceled for two reasons: 1) The local government and COTA are doing everything to help Dorna; and 2) There isn’t enough time to cancel.

How much are the VIP packages going for? It says you have to call them.

Also, what is the best area to watch the race if you are not a lucky VIP?

I'd love to go to this... its truly amazing.... the DUCATI SECTION has a freaking waiting list SMDH

A lot of seats/sections are completely sold out. Turn 15 is very popular and is my personal favorite. Turn 1 is also very popular.

I think I am going .... Waiting on my buddy to decide to roll with me

T15-19 are great spots to watch, a little knoll (a "hill" in TX parlance) for good view, very fast section and trickier then it looks. Close to big screens and vendors as well. T1 looks impressive but not much going on there usually.

Do they even sell tickets for the big tower that's in the infield? That would be the place to watch! Me and the wife will be at T15.

Not going to make it this year. Unless some time frees up.
went ‘17 and ‘18 and had a blast.
‘22 could be good.

@endodoc I will be in Long Beach soon, just 2-3 days. Wanna grab a coffee?

my and my bro going, paddock suite. can't wait. it just better happen with all this covid crap

Yeah. Me n my wife will be there too. Was her idea to celebrate our 10th anniversary there. Too bad they aren't doing a track day before or after the races, would've loved to ride that track.
Well if your close by COTA couple weeks prior to MotoGP friend of mine, BMW Ambassador, factory rider Nate Kern is running one of his DoubleR events Sep 11-12 sign up at http://Kerntrackdays.com6DC7AF55-F5AA-4A39-AAD7-B5CA2B87833A.jpeg

T15 for me and the missus as well...also an anniversary type trip...she's not so much into the bikes but has always wanted to see Austin

Gonna be a real tight squeeze to get to the airport in time not to mis the only Boston flight out on Sunday PM.

I've heard it could be up to 2 hrs getting out with traffic? Anyone with local knowledge have a suggestion?

-John

John the Austin airport is very close to the track— like 5 miles or less. And — the observation tower sells tix to go up and have a gander but I don’t think you’re supposed to stay up there the whole time..
