Multimedia system on V4???

Help Support Ducati Forum:

just download the app and then open it and go thru the menus; the parts that require the system will stop you but there are other parts that work on all bikes (prob because they are not bike-specific or bike-related).

Hello Auco,
My question is what does it and is it compatible with a Card Packtalk?
 
well tried to download the app and i can't even register it so i called ducati na . so the app won't work til oct or so they say only works on the new multi . grrr 2 month wait for something that won't work for another 3 months

How hard was this to install? Worth it?
 
haven't even bothered to pick mine up yet after what ducati north america told me i'm alittle ticked off
 
Finally have mine up and working. I purchased the module July of last year and the dealer just now figured out how to activate it. Works well with iPhone X. Media player is connected to my Cardo pactalk slim. Display also shows incoming call, missed calls etc.

Looks like the new BMW S1000RR M has sat nav built into the display, its got to be coming to Ducati's eventually.
 
I think the new BMW has the ability to add sat nav and connect to the dash. I have the 2019 GS with the TFT dash and it is nice but to have sat nav you need the additional $900unit.
 
Sat nav would be awesome, would be cool to have a built in performance data recorder too.

I can confirm this. DMS (PART NO. 96680711B) works quite basic on my V4 but fine.
Connection to my iPhone and Ducati Link app mostly logs fine. Haven't connected my Cardo G9 BT headset to it yet.
I doubt if this headset is compatible, since Ducati is touting about this option for the Ducati-Cardo Packtalk only?...

I have not successfully connected to the ducati app.

How did you connect the bike to Ducati Link? In the description of the software the V4 is missing in the compatible bike list. I tried several times the connection, but without success.
