Phill, I'm going to assume that you didn't remove the injectors, correct?

I just did mine and didn't remove any injectors either. I just slid it right in.
should have become a plastic surgeon ...
Totally kidding, Im in measly sales.
i fact, i am a plastic surgeon, too. i can enlarge breasts by laying my hands on them. most times i do it for free...
Installed the HE filter afew weeks ago , ever since it hasnt run smooth. Now vibrates alot more and very hesitant to about 7500 rpm, serms to feel abit hotter between the legs and on the track its down. 4 or. 5 mph
So for all of us keeping track at home the HE is an all around bad move
After doing another 200kms on it today i would guess probably had a gut full of crap fuel, seemed to run alot better but did notice on a wot 5th gear run at about the 9000rpm its seemed to have a flat spot then picked up again. Will be ordering the adjustment kit and a tuneboy to take the big flat spot out between 3500-6500rpm. Hopefully then that will be the end of the power chasing $$$$. Had an 1198 before this and lack of low end torque is dissapointing
well, had the tank off and discovered this:
so i went there:
and got this:
put it in:
and whoop whoop - smooth running at low rpms and really good sounding.
even seems to pull a little bit better.
install with tank off and back on was about 15 min.
happy biker.
thanks randy!
