Just got confirmation from HAUL BIKES. Its set to arrive sunday april 18th. I cant stop thinking about it lol!
Mine bike is still incoming with no confirmed date yet so I'm jealous! I've been looking at YouTube videos and dying of anticipation haha. Congrats man and enjoy it!

I don’t think cost is going to be the issue there

Finding a dealer that will do it might be tho...

*great choice of bike and exhaust tho

Enjoy : )

The local ducati dealer here said they would install it for 560. They gave me a decent deal on the exhaust for 4800

I just took delivery of her. Ill post pics a bit later. So when the bike is off what is the blinking red light at top of dash? Is it "anti theft" or something lol

UPDATE

I've had the bike for 2 weeks now and I'm loving it. Every time i park it in my garage i have to just sit there and look at it for a few minutes because its so damn beautiful. I've already purchased the full akrapovic exhaust and now i just gotta take it to my local ducati dealership to get it installed. To get to that dealership I have to take the freeway for the quickest route. Havent rode on the freeway yet and im kind of nervous but i should be ok.

The first trip to the dealership will be to install Full akra, clear clutch kit, rizoma stealth mirrors and front turn signals, domino grips, ducati spacers heat shield and throttle spacers. I also got the NRC tail tidy and all red passenger seat cover, but im gonna do that myself. I ordered pretty much every gloss full six carbon fiber pieces you can get besides the gas tank from motomillion, but it hasnt even shipped out yet. Ordered the carbon stuff like 2 weeks ago. Hopefully it doesnt take forever.

Noob questions for the V2 guys
Does clutchless upshifting work everytime? Sometimes when i try to clutchless upshift from 1st to 2nd it wont do it. I feel like im in a high enough rpm. I only had it not work sometimes when i go from 1st to 2nd.

How does you guys bike idle after start up?

Best method to wash bike? Do I pretty much just spot wash it?

pics of my bike as it sits now.

Sounds like some nice (but expensive) mods. I’ve done Pazzo racing levers in powder coated red, comfort seat, NRC tail tidy, grips and passenger seat removal with cowl and deleted the passenger pegs. I also use a quad lock phone mount. For your questions, I think I recall being told quick shifter is over 30mph? I don’t use the quick shifter often but when I do it’s high RPM and high speed. I just like the feel of using the clutch I guess. She idles a bit rough on first start of the day and sometimes when sitting in the heat all day. Worse when fuel is low. There are several posts about hard starts here. Recommend removing the charcoal canister and only using the best brand gas. Avoid off brand gas like convenience stores. I stay with Shell, Texaco, 76 etc. The bike stays surprisingly clean compared to my Harley with all the chrome. Once in a while I’ll full wash it but most of the time a quick wipe down of all the red parts with a warm chamois does the trick. I also use a microfiber with Meguiars or similar detailers spray. Also important to keep the chain clean. Simple green and a grunge brush works great followed by chain lube. Pit bull rear stand makes it a quick job. Hope that helps. Ride safe!

@Mi5sileV2, does your rear brake work? Your fluid is dark black. Mine was delivered like that and the dealer flushed and replaced it.

my rear brake does work. should i get my fluid changed? When i go for the full akra install im gonna have them check everything out too. This bike is a used 2020 i ordered from v1moto in texas and i live in oregon. Should i juse have them service the bike because i got it out of state? Any idea how much a check up for service cost? it has about 2000 miles right now

As long as you have a proper working rear brake, you should be ok. I would have your local dealer flush the fluid when it is in for the exhaust install or if you lose pressure. Not sure on the cost. I have to flush my rear brake at least once a year on every Ducati I've owned.

My dealer checked the water content of my rear brake fluid and said it was good. He said the fluid reacts with something that blackens it.

But who knows? My guess is heat from the engine.

Anyone ever order from motomillion? My carbon fiber is taking forever and they havent responded to my email about an estimate on ship date. i have a 2000 dollar order from them. I hope i get it before summer.

Has anyone ever got their bike detailed and ceramic coated? Im thinking about doing it to my V2. it has minor swirl marks in some spots. nothing crazy but i want it to be pristine.

Just got my bike back from Ducati Portland (MotoCorsa). Got the clear clutch kit, throttle spacers, domino grips, rizoma winglet mirrors and light unit turn signals, and full titanium akrapovic exhaust with the tune. Suspension is also dialed in for my weight now.

No words can explain this for me. It sounds absurdly good. Unfortunately its over 100 degrees today and its brutal to ride with the heat of the engine. I don't have the heat shield installed yet because I'm waiting on some carbon fiber.

My sister is near you. I saw Portand hit 112F! That's insane!
It's hot as balls here as well but not that hot. I'm getting out the door in the wee hours and getting back by 10AM. Also flying up to the mountains.
You should get up Mt Hood maybe. Is the riding any good over there?

I hope it's not the end of the world yet. I'm having too much fun on this new bike.

The heat is really bad right where the rear brake reservoir is located and the fluid is cheap so it turns dark within a few heat cycles. Most of us swap out the stock brake fluid for something better, like Motul 660. I swap the front and rear fluid on all my bikes (all brands) just after purchasing them. I also change the fluid regularly (every few months or more often), depending on how much I ride the bike and how hard I abuse the fluid (heat cycles and frequent hard braking).

The Capri Tools CP21029 Vacuum Brake Bleeder makes life easier when changing brake/clutch fluids regularly (and on multiple motorcycles/cars).

I picked up my bike and rode it home when it was like 110 degrees outside. they had my bike for 2 weeks so i wanted it bad.I just sucked it up and picked it up. It was brutal. I dont have heatshields on yet either. When i got home i literally almost passed out. When i got off my bike i was dizzy. Worth it though to get my baby back with the full akra!

So Anyone have issues with engine shutting off sometimes? This only happened to me today i have the full akra so i started it and let it idle for like a minute then did some minor revs and the engine shut off when the revs dropped. turned it back on and it happend like 3 times in a row today then it stopped. First time it happened to me with this bike. after those 3 times it stopped doing it

Congrats! btw You should be a little careful with heat exhaustion. I'm trying to develop some strategies and habits to avoid it, but in the Summer when it's 110F in Oregon - wtf.
We need a plan.
Sharing moment: I just rode up a mountain, got to the top and almost fell over I was so wrecked. That's kind of dangerous IMHO.
The next day I did the same ride again and got to the top fresh as a daisy.
Difference: Gassed up the night before. Got out the door crack of 8:30AM. Found a new path to the mountain avoiding traffic. Rode more smoothly having seen the road once before. On the way down, stopped 3 or 4 times at waterfalls dunked head, at cafe', had lunch... stay cooling down. Got around cars blocking airflow asap. Stuff like that makes a huge difference.
