After much debate over an 1199 or 1299...there really wasn't much of a debate! It looks like I'm part of the club, for better or worse, just bought my first Ducati. A 2015 Panigale 1299 Base, excited is an understatement.

First upgrade since my 2002 Suzuki GSXR 1000 (which I bought new 13 years ago). Night and day haha.

Photo is sideways on my iPad, unsure why, but you get the idea. I need advice on a tidy tail, and some other must have tidbits. Lock, security system, I think LED front headlights are in order...etc.

Welcome to the stump puller - go pull some stumps, or in my case a Mercedes AMG turbo V8 who wanted to play :D

Congrats on your new 1299 and first Ducati.

New Rage Cycles makes a fender eliminator kit that a lot of us like on here, there is also a discount code if you search the thread.

Sincere congratulations my man!

If you'd like some serious assistance with ANYTHING AT ALL for the "new baby" which I actually thought meant a real live child, I have some very high list of connections for things you may both WANT and of course things you surely NEED! ;)

CONGRATS AGAIN & RIDE IT HARD FROM DAY 1 BROTHER!
IT'S A DUCATI SUPERBIKE THAT'S MEANT TO, AND CAN TAKE IT!

None :( heading back this week to pick up my tag and I'll spend some time there picking out some toys!

I want a tidy tail, but not sure which to get?
Want a xena disc lock maybe with an alarm but they're kind of useless.
Sena wife and I
Wife needs a new helmet
Tracking device?
Battery tender

What else am I missing? Spend my money for me! Don't know the brands very well...so all input is encouraged.

Also - get the DP lower radiator guard at minimum to keep rocks from damaging your radiator

Order a new oil filter (K&N is fine) and change the oil at 150 miles, believe me it will be time!

$17,750 plus plus plus. Nego to 17,750, but still paid the bs shipping and freight of 1000. I think bike came out to 20,400 OTD (7% tax here and also add tag and title which are pricey in Miami). I added gap insurance etc so hope that paints a clear enough picture for you. Not the greatest deal, but certainly fair... Didn't feel like arguing over $500-$1000. They threw in t-shirts, hats...and offered cost on anything else in the store. Will install tidy tail for free. So I was more than happy with the deal. It was rather painless.
