Isn't that what we pay PDI for?.... For them to set it up and make sure they test ride to see that everything is working ok....

Exactly as it should be. Start it yes, but a 20 mile ride? I want to be and was the first to ride her. They should know by now what needs to checked/tightened without runing around for half an hour.

I was there when the tech took it out. He was gone for maybe 5 minutes and when he came back he had this massive grin on his face. "F#%! your bike is awesome!" were his exact words. He wasn't lying.

My guess would be just a very thorough checkout before delivery - a good thing. Wouldn't worry about it.
