I was taking a looking at the underseat diagnostic cable connector on a '23 Panigale V4S, and it looked like this:

When did they change to this connector type?

Doing some looking around, it looks like these are the new connectors on Euro 5 bikes. I'll just have to buy a new cable (or look for an adapter) to use with my Texa.

In 2021 even the EU4 bikes in the US got it too. Probably just for simplicity at the factory.

I got a OBD-II to 6-pin adapter off of Amazon. That 6-pin connector seems pretty common on Hondas.

Texa provide a specific Euro 5 diagnostic cable.

Which diagnostic tool do you have?

I've posted the Ducati part number for the adapter in the thread below, it's a std 6 pin connector for Euro5 but they only;y utilise 4 of the pins, I bought the Ducati specific adapter so i could use it with my Euro4 cable which fits my other bikes. At least being a Ducati part i know the pinout is correct.

Thanks --- that's the cable I bought :) I have the Navigator TXB Evolution, and run the IDC5 Bike software on my Windows laptop.

How is the owner/user experience with the TXB? About how much did you pay, is there a subscription fee, can you install software updates onto the various controllers, be it BBS, dash, ABS etc.?

Nice! I run the same using the Navigator Nano S.

@bp_SFV4 The subscriptions are necessary if updates are desired. This includes BBS, ABS, dash, Suspension controller... everything, though I'm yet to try this.

There are various add-ons to the IDC5 software that allow this, Texa Bike and Texa Info are some. One of them or another provides service bulletins. Theoretically anything the dealer can do can be done with this, though again I'm yet to verify... maybe later this year.

Here's a snap of some of it's capabilities...

Subscriptions aren't required for diagnostic purposes though.
