Forgot to add. I have seen two guys who replaced the stock detent arm with the Factory Pro unit who stripped the threads re installing the arm. This threads into the engine case and has little in the way of material for a repair. Not pretty. Find a decent torque wrench and appropriate thread lock.

@Scottm091

I ran into the same issue with the length on the rod with the CNC rear sets. However, I just dropped the linkage down into the 2nd slot/option on the shift lever itself and was able to get it where I wanted it.

Thanks - I saw that on your other pics. I lowered my shift arm/toe peg another 3/16" So I am in the upper position, but I have threaded that linkage down. Probably ended up in exactly the same place you are with far more work! I have a knack for making things complicated LOL. I rode again today and zero false neutrals. I'm liking it quite a bit so far. It's flawless the way I have it set up now and the shifts seem way smoother than before.

Hi guys,

A little bit late to jump on the wagon, but just recently learnt about this product. May I ask if having the strain gauge instead of the stock microswitch helps with the "too long" cutoff during upshifts at high rpm? At low and medium revs, the shifting is smooth but once it goes up to high revs, it is very jerky as it throw me forward into the tank every time i perform a upshift, felt that the cutoff is too long.

On translogic site, it also states that it only works with stock rearset. I am using the Ducati Performance rearset with reverse shift. For you guys on DP rearset, how did you guys work around it?

Many thanks

Meng,
If you get Tuneboy you can adjust the cut-off time. Mine is half of OEM at about 50 ms and seems to work well.

Cut-out at high revs is still too long...4-5 down the straight throws me forward too. Having a BSD QS installed on the R...these are butter-smooth-

We do not have support for Tuneboy locally (not that I know of), thus trying to avoid that route.

Couple of options I have will be Woolich & Rapidbike.

I take it that its the software and not the hardware that needs to be adjusted then?

Yes. The TL shift rod/cell are nice pieces.... The OEM QS is the issue still- Thus the BSD-

Hey bradp51 any chance you can take a screen shot of your TB cut times? I'm just installing a TL rod now and would love a starting point on the cut times.

So I just had an incident at he track where I was shifting from 4 to 5 and hit a "false neutral" causing me to slow down a bit and a guy that was drafting off of me hit me from behind. We both saved the bikes from going down but I've got to get a new rim now. Needless to say I want to fix this problem. So is everyone happy with the TL QS? what is the part number I need to order if so?

Sorry my Apple laptop does not work with TB

I remember Wayne had it halfway along I think 50 ms from memory

Was back in about feb 2014
