No start no crank

Its me again. I got new alternator and regulator installed, fixed previous owner cobble wires but im getting the same issue where i press the starter button and nothing just turns off my headlight, which will come back after a min, press starter button, same thing. Not sure what the problem could be now.... if i have to dig into wires i might just put the aftermarket starter button back on....good thing i didnt put the plastics back on

Possibly i messed something up on the internals of the factory starter/killswitch? I took apart and cleaned up and i dont recall it being too complicated so i dont really think i messed that up but really not sure...

My battery has 12.5v and my starter relay has 12.5v

Am i supposed to take the factory starter switch apart and put the multimeter inside or something?

Upon further investigation the original positive battery lead cable to starter relay is not too good and people tape off and put new wire. I tired this and still had same issue. I hooked the aftermarket starter button back up and it cranks, guess ill just roll with that. Hopefully the bike doesnt catch on fire now tho.
