What's worse than dead you ask.

I'll tell you what's worse than death.

Being brought back to life after dying, and living in a perpetual vegetative state with just enough awareness for things to torment you and little prospect of being able to communicate with other people effectively.
So your just left sitting in a float chair in a corner of the room in the nursing home, just watching the tree growing outside while they occasionally think to wipe the dribble off the front of your shirt, if they bother to check on you when passing by.
All the time you're just shitting and pissing yourself, whilst not being able to move of your own accord, and having to rely on people to adjust your position in the chair or bed because your in sooo much pain and discomfort due to your injuries (remember the bit where your not able to communicate effectively).

WHEN THEY SHOULD'VE JUST LET YOU DIE IN THE FIRST ....... PLACE.

+1 And to add -

You're young and realize that you've got another 70 years of this before you're finally released.

Ladies with a certain type of pysique make me bolt on the buddy pegs in a hurry.....

ummm i keep mine on...i take hotties out on the bike all the time. makes them "feel some type of way" for sure. lol. of course i would rather them have their own...but hey, thats just not always the case...

no one is going to ban you man and if i can recall you were joking with everyone as well ? and like charlie said brad was "only" making a point of whats worse then death.

When you can disagree with someone without resorting to the puerile, potty-mouthed invective of a 12 year old then I'll consider putting you into that category.

And btw little fella, I'm 62. ;)

lmaoooo get him grandpa !!! I'm 26 and loveeee legos permission to go back and play now?

its funny how much time is btwn those numbers when u switch them around

that phrase tho

at some point you have to look at the fact that this is still the internet and getting all pissed off about it isnt going to change a thing. Charlie may have been disrespecting you in the context you took it in, but i dont really think he meant it that way. just my 2 cents. once you start throwing names around tho, its too late to figure out what he/she really meant. lets not be internet tough guys lol...

Ok Sunshinestate back to your issue Compwerks make a license plate holder that spring loaded hinged with a small roller on the bottom. It prevents you from scratching your hugger or crushing your plate. It pretty common down here in SoCal specially with all the stunters. I had one on my R1 and R6 and it worked great. You can easily modify it to fit the Pani.

Interesting thread.... You cannot be on a forum without having a somewhat thick skin.... I thought everyone knew that???

No one needs banning.... Geez.. Just enjoy the place and the info and chill... :)

Chris... You are new here and we are glad to have you...just take the ragging as a compliment and feel welcome to the big family that we are here...

Now....How are you going to address the issue of your plate vs hugger??

This forum has become way too polite, I remember days when things were much more....let's say dynamic.

Frosty would've had a field day with this guy, lol!

Why let people ruffle your feathers via the internet? Everyone has the potential to be cyber bullies and will beat the living crap outta you via the internet. Words are just words. Even if they were disrespecting you, your girl, family, etc..who cares? Are these close friends of yours in person? Then and only then should you take it personal. This goes for anyone. Some things get taken out of context very easily on public forums because you can't tell what someone's tone or intentions are unless maybe an "lol" follows. On topic or not, you can easily choose to avoid the offensive comments all together or keep the back n forth discussion to a "healthy debate" level. Talkin .... online only makes you look like the douche, not the recipient. By "you" I mean anyone.

To fix your issue, go with the Evotech tail tidy. IMO, best looking tail tidy. Yes I'm biased since I have it but I also don't have that issue with my rear mud guard. Then again my Akra's prevent me from putting pegs on since I wasn't willing to cut my heat shield to make room for them. 2 up on this bike is not fun and very uncomfortable compared to any other sportbike I've owned. It just plain SUCKS!

Striking a balance is always difficult.... But I would like to think the core feeling of this place is the same..but with some organisation....I miss Frosty too... He could cut you down in a sentence...

If there were as many fights in real life as their are on forums, we'd all be living in the Lord of the Flies!

I still think your set up looks good, you may just have to alter the angle and consider a smaller plate or without the carbon surround?

Personally, someone else on the back of my 1199 scares me. I have tried it. Aside from the passenger point of view that the rear seat is purely just a token gesture, weight on any of the rear pegs from them is enough to upset the bike, being so rigid. I reckon if someone knew what they were doing they could almost steer this bike from the rear pegs!

it is worse than most...very bent over and the seats are hard and slick compared to say, a zx10. my buddy has the 13 zx10 and its like sandpaper. that said, besides them sliding around under acceleration and braking, cruising down the highway is fine as long as they keep their weight off of you and know where to keep their head to not create a huge wind vortex and make your neck sore in less than 4 minutes of riding lol. my new girl has ridin for years. 5'3 105 lbs doesnt seem to affect the bike too bad. but i can feel when she puts all her weight on one peg to adjust herself for sure like the gentleman was saying...the weight on the rear pegs def. affects the bikes chassis.
