Odd rash/scratch on hugger

I Put ductape on the bottom of the actual metal plate. added the 2 bottom screws to suck it into the carbon license plate frame and added a piece of felt along the width of the plate. Makeshift fix worked liked a charm. The felt was so the plate frame would not rub either. Due to horrible roads in some areas for construction we hit many bumps causing the rash. It was I275 that did it. It's a messed up highway but it's a major road commuting in and out of tampa.
 
You still seem to be missing the concept of having it set so that it CAN'T touch, not so that if it DOES touch it doesn't scrape the prescious fender. How do you know when it touched the suspension was completely bottomed out? It might have been only part way and already touched, so if you ever actually completely bottom it out it might hit harder and damage the tire? You won't know unless you test it with the suspension completely bottomed out. I'm only harping on this because we it's a potential catastrophic event, don't want to see you posting from a hospital bed! ;)
 
will do jarel. It goes into service today so ill have them adjust it accordingly. It never bottomed out though. would be hard to bottom out without me feeling it.

Comp Werkes bracket would not work with the Akra heatshield because of the angle, and when I bent it to fit, the license plate would be too close (about 3") to the rear hugger. So he's making me one with a longer base, and putting the angle back towards the exhaust so it has more clearance as well as being billet aluminum and much less material for that 0.1lb difference in weight. :)
