Hi all Panigale owners,

Regarding the heat problem. I recommend buying a product from Zircotec which is a flexible ceramic stick on sheet which stops 77% of heat transfer. I did under my seat, made a panel also and stuck it on the underside of the seat rails just above the exhaust guard, removed the exhaust guard then wrapped the pipes, and stuck this material around the electronic rear susp solenoids back side only. what a difference. By the way I live in Arizona where summer heat is very high.

Can you do a favor and share some pics? Thanks.

Where'd you grab yours? Would be smart to line the subframe fairings and seat bottom.

I can post pics after I get home. One reason for my modifications are simply this, electronics should be kept cool and there are electronics under the seat, plus the S and tri has the fancy electronic shock which should be kept cool. Hard start has been reported in some cases but so far with my modifications I have had no hot start issues.

By the way the underside of my seat is lined with Zircotec flex11 foil and the seat stays much cooler and more pleasant to ride. The material is not cheap but well worth every penny. I bought the 18 X 22 sheet.

You think?
lets see....he joined today and all his posts so far have been pushing this Zircotec ?

By the way I do not work for Zircotec or do I get paid to promote their product. I have posted this info as in Arizona especially in town the heat was almost unbearable. So after a long search for products to help with this heat problem I found this product and purchased some. So not only did I exhaust wrap my under seat pipe I also used this product and between those two product uses it has made life in the seat more pleasant.

What does the bike theft look like down there? It's out of this world in CO right now and I will unfortunately be moving down around Sierra Vista.

Sierra Vista is a nice area a little cooler than Tucson, bike theft I can tell you except so far I have never had a bike stolen

If you hit the track please PM some track info and if you know of any Arizona sport bike forums :D. Want to get a head start.

Sorry I did not post pics yet as I have been in Europe for a while and will be back in the USA, Tucson in Sept and will post them then. However I did prior to leaving the USA try to post but could not figure out how. Could someone please send me instructions on what to do.

on the same note

does anyone know if the carbon fiber exhaust shield work as a heat blocker?
