Wow November? They really make you wait down under.
Notice you bought the FullSix nose but the carbonvani tank. I have the complete CDT body (modified a bit matte finish) and the CDT tank. I bought a carbonvani tank a year ago and it was damaged when it arrived. One of the front mounts had snapped off so I sent it back. I was pretty disappointed with the quality of the tank. The CDT tank is excellent. Wondering why you didn't go CDT on the tank?
So your doing a full CDT on a new 1299 ANV? Are you keeping the stock wheels?
Ok that's what I thought. So now I just have to ask. Since like me it looks like your going to change pretty much the whole bike why would you not start with a base or even used 1299. I don't get the Annaversario then take off all the stuff that you just paid for. Basically I needed a motor, swingarm and frame/airbox. That's all that's left from the factory. Seems like you could have saved a lot of $$ just doing a ground up built. Just asking.
Wallaroo, what are you going to be doing for front signals/blinkers?
I can tell you guys from 3 1299s worth of experience that the CDT/Full Six cf has a fantastic finish but I will also tell you that a whole body kit for the 1299 is far from a "bolt on" you will for sure be doing some fitting and modifying and will probably hear some vocabulary from yourself that you may not have heard before. My first set was a pre production matte 1299 road version and was a nightmare. The fuel tanks are great out of the box. Worse offenders are the one piece rear subframe and the electronic holders. Also the fairing stay is not correct. I have what I was told the first "correct" 1299 fairing stay arriving next week so we will see. The one I got two months ago would not even bolt to the frame as the holes were not alligned. I have pics of this stuff if anyone wants them. I'm hoping for the best on the new arrivals. Simple stuff (fenders, panels etc are not an issue)
