Sweet !!!

Got a nice tank pad for the Annii today, should match the tank nicely.

LOVE that tank pad brother!!

Can you send me one too please? Can send my address via PM ok brother?
Mine is still missing a tank pad and I think that would fit great in the spot I used to have one - that got ripped off my some ......!

Ps. No idea how to send regular mail to your AO (Area of Operations) or how much it costs, but I'd like to send you some of the awesome Ducati stickers I got off this pretty cool site - Which I THOUGHT I posted on here before??

Turns out I didnt, and will post them up on a new thread tonight or tomorrow.
Just had ANOTHER surgery on my Cervical Spine today and kinda out of it right now.
Therefore, you can skip the sticker thread and just send the tank pad ok? ;)

Sorry all for being late in getting back to you, but I was away for the weekend and was just on my way home when I got a call from the hospital that my son has just had a fight with a car on his new 959.....fractured hip and wrist:(

Gunny my old friend I hope all has gone well for you......Thinking of you mate!!!

Well finally all parts are here and finished and ready to go on the bike next week.
Only thing that will take a bit longer is painting the carbon

I was also lucky to get my Akra header pipes for $2200AUD in a sale that is happening at the moment, so i am glad I waited to get those.

Here is a pic of the holders before and after anodising, going to look sweet with the CNC rearsets and Moto Corse suspension bracket and linkage :D

Thanks mate, He came home yesterday, but is moving very slowly, still needs a op on his wrist, but the pelvis is ok considering it was fractured nearly all the way through.
Been one of those months as my daughter has a fractured Fibia after a horse get off while competing.....crutches everywhere :D

This is crap they sent a month ago. Again great exterior finish and then it all goes bad. The frame mount slide bolt goes in fine but even with the elongated upper screw slots, the holes did not line up with the frame holes. The IMU, headlight bracket posts are too short and the maim light arm mounting pins look like, well you decide. These fit into the rummer grommet light mount and are supposed to be smooth and flush. They are not and they are too short. There is a lot on this piece that is not accurate. I documented this for CDT. We shall see in a wee of so if they got the issues fixed. The CF processing is not their issue, its the QC dept letting things out that ate "not ready for prime time"
Hopefully they have fixed the subframe issues as well because there were a bunch of them. I do not have any issues taking drills and Dremel tools to a $2000.00 subframe but there are plenty of people who would and you need to.

Your dead right Endedoc! In general I've found most of their simpler products are 'OK-ish' in terms of fit. It's when you get to their more complex pieces that you run into trouble. And ALL the parts I have had, required some mods to them, be it a bit of filing or dremelling to make them work perfectly. Finish is not the issue with 99% of their parts. I had their carbon seat cowl and only after showing them the part in person at EICMA in 2013 (having had to carry it over in my hand luggage from the UK), did they agree there was an issue. Basically they had set the locking bar that engages into the seat lock too far forward, so the cowl would never lock into place. They amended the design after that and the 3rd version I got back was perfect. (It's now up for sale BTW, as moving onto a 1299S shortly).

One reason I did not buy the carbon tail monocoque/subframe was the fit, when I saw it on their stand at EICMA in Italy. Underseat panel was poorly aligned and there was no provision to bolt the AKRA exhaust heat-shield to the underside of the sub-frame and unless they could be strengthened, I did not want to then have to drill four holes in what is a structural part of the bike. I would still recommend their stuff (but a note to Wallaroo), Endodoc is quite right, and in my personal experience, your parts will need some minor fettling as nothing they produce is 100% correct. It might just be a hole that needs enlarging slightly, to accommodate the shoulder of a bolt head (ie the RH cylinder head shield is a good example) or the electrical supports (which you will have to be creative with the get the MAP sensors to fit properly!).

Saying all that there are no alternatives (aside from Carbonvani) making such an extensive range of parts but I would not touch them with a barge pole as their stuff is absolute ..... by comparison. Terrible weave, inconsistent finish and hole alignment probably executed by a four year old.

The ONLY company to trounce all these is IMHO Lieb Speed, whose products fit like a glove. They are beautifully finished and ooze quality. It's just a shame he only produces a handful of items for the Panigale. His stuff honestly makes CDT, Carbonvani, MS Productions, Ducati Performance and pretenders such as Bestem, look at best very second rate. I've spent countless hours and $$$ over the years customising over 10 Ducatis and in all that time I've never bought or found better quality parts in carbon than his offerings. His CF parts are in one word, sublime.

My right leg broken 3 times so I know the feeling.. Cheers.

Look good. I had mine DTM coated as I could not find an anodiser herein the UK, who would guarantee an even finish on a forged casting such as these parts are, so interested to see yours. Also it's quite a reflective finish for an anodised part. Is is hard anodised or normal and have you added a coating to it post anodising which might explain the slight gloss effect in the photo? Only curious as I'll be looking to do the same to my 1299S (else I will DTM them as I did on the 1199) BTW hope your son heals up soon.

Topolino thanks for that feedback on the CDT rear subframe. I have the full akra and noticed that there was no provision for mounting the heat shield. Your post confirms that. The Australian distributor is trying to sell me one who he his contacting the factory re the akra mounting but I am not confident they have a good solution if they did not take it into account in the initial design.

I wonder what a genuine 1199 SL costs ? Kinda rhetorical as I am sure out of my reach.

Thank you, he is young and will mend well, could be off a bike for awhile tho, the Panigale's are not kind on the wrist under heavy downhill braking
Ok..I had the part hard anodised and yes when it came back it was like a flat black and looked nothing like a nice CNC part.
So the first thing you do is get a soft cutting compound,it is important you use a soft one. Then you polish it until you get close to what you like, the pics I took were just after the polishing.
Now i have done 3 coats of Nanoceramic 9H and then finished with a Nano Ceramic soft protect. The 9H will keep it like new for 5+yrs and the second has a high hydrophobicity and gives it a deep black colour, you cannot tell the difference between a nice CNC part now.
I tried to take some pics with the flash but it was no good so will do some tomorrow and you can see how it came up.

Looks amazing! I've never seen an anodized part look that good.
