Yep, 100% not the same length! Completely different fork and internals. Plus, different yokes and offsets etc. Also, swingarm completely different.
No measurements off an RS can, realistically, be compared to our bikes unfortunately.

But my bike can theoretically lap within 2 sec of an RS so therefore it’s comparable 😜

Speaking of longer swing arms... isn't it about time a cheaper iteration of the WSBK swingarm made it to production?

If not on a production bike then at least as a DP part... though I'd hate to think what that would cost.

You prob already know this so sorry if so. But Pierobon makes one. Also there’s a SBK (but not RS) version in the Corse catalog.

Anyone know if any V4s are running Superstock in BSB? Barni seem to be racing a pretty stock V4R in CIV. Looks to be stock swingarm, subframe, triples.

Does look like they had to put some spacers under the seat bracket like I had to do bc of the ...... base fitment

Yup, but why hasn’t it made it to the production bike?

Racing is a development activity in theory.

Do you have a copy of the corse catalogue?

None runs them in BSB. The V4R is above the price cap, and the base engine is too large a capacity. You can run the 1103, but you then have to use a different ECU with no TC, wheelie control or launch.

Aus Superbike run the stock swingarms though. Not sure what front ends they run.

Bruce Wayne is the man for this.

Was unaware of the price cap. I saw that they opened the class up to 1100 with those caveats but no bites. Bummer. Missed opportunity for Ducati. But man the BSB SBK races were cracking!

Yep, BMW were smarter, from that perspective. The M1000RR has poor suspension, but comes in under the price cap. Although, I suspect more V4R are sold 🤷‍♂️

Absolutely, great first round!
