My first performance modification.

Posted the same pix in the Krupp thread on it's first 100 mile ride.

The only way i can desribe the almost 4 pound change at rim is that it makes the bike feel a 100 pounds lighter in the saddle. The matte finish looks good to boot but the stickers have to go.

So much smoother but I want to get some more miles in on the the skyway and blue ridge to fiddle with the screws.. preferably cloaked.

The tire changer/balancer from Poland worked well. Hairspray in the eyes was a new experience.

Took it for a spin in the rain after fresh fluids and doing the chain thing. Motul 300 makes it so much smoother. DSC027528.jpg

@ the required annual service 2500 miles ago and the 621, the dealer used some Motorad BMW labeled stuff.

I had used Motul for the hibernation stage this past winter and driving this spring. I have some unused Shell from Ducati Omaha but this forum led me to trying Motul first. I'm a green oil fan.

Killer shot....I would say the best yet. Great angle and composition. It flows front to back

Rode the Skyway and the 'road to nowhere' in Bryson City NC. It was good to see Robbinsville hopping again as well as Bryson.

Yes, the roads along the river had the retaining walls built out of old cars.

Crossed the Appalachian Trail a few times today so I took a picture.20210821_133937.jpg

Clouds loomed in my direction. The road was a river across the mountain.

Such a fun road. Played in 4th a bit today and put some heat in the tires.

Good times.

My apologies for the grainy pix. The resize software is lacking using the phones onboard memory.

My leather junk was still wet so back on the Appalachian Trail at Roan Mountain yesterday. The highest point in the Eastern US, Mount Mitchel is in the distance.

Rolled out before the heat and traffic this morning forgetting to tank up....lol. It was a coast down to Cherokee after a quick run on Clingmans Dome road for 5 miles until I was in the clouds.

Blue Ridge was lovely on the new wheels in the rough sections. It is a 2 psi drop from 2000 to 6000 feet so I started out at 29 this morning. Hot at altitude, I am getting 34 but it felt good. Resized_20210828_122234.jpeg
