Me and a few buds went out on the Parkway on Saturday. Those are 2021 Tuonos. Good times!

The plastics on the Aprilia seem thinner than the Ducati. You still loving those CF wheels?

Enthralled would be the word.

Hit this section of little river and laurel creek like a champ yesterday. Got a little wet but I love damp roads.

Rode the Cherohala Skyway today and played with the suspension adjustments only to reset each one back to where I had them.

Just a little over a hundred miles before I hit the 10K mark.

Met some peeps and got a close look at a Buell and it's quirks.

Cleaned up the chain and externally flushed the bugs out of the lower radiator this past week.

The ranger was right on time so Foothills was a little window of fun yesterday. Very few cars which was super nice.

Today was equally awesome...this picture is from Clingmans up in the clouds.
Blue Ridge was 55-60 degrees but the colors are turning up top.

I braved the wet leaves of death, suicide squirrels and the 'lets just back up on a blind corner' peeps. Bless their hearts.

swapped out the clutch and brake fluid to 660. we will see how it holds up but first impression is amazing on the rear brake.

It was crowded. About three times the number of cagers as usual for a Saturday. Here’s why they are here:

I ran across a father and son duo from Ohio. The dad was on a new BMW RS1250 in black while the son was riding a 2001 Honda RC51. It was nice chatting with them.

The leaves are turned and mostly gone in the Poplar trees but the other trees are just getting color. Another week and they should pop.

We just had 7 long days of rain but it was mostly dry. There were a few wet spots where the water was coming out of the rocks.

Here’s a few pics of the V2:

Here’s a look at my rear tire. Does the flaring back edge of the siping indicate I need to stiffen the rebound? Or something else?

Thanks for any input! :)

Try closing the rebound a hair if it looks even along the latitude. A quarter fits pretty well.

Nice pix. Some reds in the sassafras, dogwoods and maples above 2800 or so on this side.

October drivers are special.
