Got out late this afternoon. About 50 degrees but not horrible.

I’m at 7121 miles for the season so far. I’m aiming for 7500 if the weather cooperates. I’m attempting to scrub in my tires but 50 degrees on chip seal isn’t very reassuring in the corners.

It is supposed-to-be slightly warmer tomorrow. 65ish maybe.

70 this afternoon so party time. I finally replaced the tag holder with an EVO for less than two Benjamins from Ducati Omaha.

The tree service flagger on foothills said I was going too fast. If he only knew.

Had a little jaunt today. 57 in the valleys and 43 at 6,000 feet. Here a Christmasy shot:

It‘s supposed to be warmer for the next three days, and so I’m hoping to break 7,500 miles this season. Merry Christmas!

Agreed. It's just that it looked mostly stock so I was wondering where the weight savings, lol. I don't want to spend $4-5 grand on a slip on. I track the bike and at my tracks the bike is plenty fast enough. Was thinking about a Lithium battery, but my stock battery is still practically new. I think you, my friend, are onto something!

It cracked 70 degrees today. Odd for February.

Doing the oil change that should have been done a month ago.

It hit 66 degrees today, which was unusual. And they opened a 17-mile stretch of the Parkway. So a quick ride was in order.

No, the second shot is Water Rock Knob. The first is the next pull off to the east. The Parkway was open from Soco Gap to Balsam Gap. Not too many sticks on the road but there were some wet spots due to runoff from the big rains last night.
