2500 miles and they were poop. Got the Diablo III's on there now. I like them much better. Depends how often you ride I guess. I ride 300 plus miles a week (recreation not commute) with long stretches of highway to get to the mountains. The Diablo IIIs are as good as the SC grip wise in this setting but have a fantastic wear life. I flat spotted the center of the first set of SCs quickly just getting to riding spots. Some will say the SC has better grip well then your a hell of a street rider if your pushing that hard to over limit a better street tire which if the Diablo III. Im no where near that brave or skilled off track. Track, I like the Diablo slick.

I too am enjoying the corsa 3's at the moment. The center is way harder than any of the diablos on the market, yet the sides provide PLENTY of grip in the canyons.

My original set of Diablos, I ran it to 12K miles and I could see the chord. Dealer said don't do that again. For commuting, I think you can get 4-8K miles at the most, depending on usage style and pressure maintained.

2 months ago, i mentioned in my post that i wasn't anywhere near replacing my tires. 200 miles later (4800 total) I had no choice but to replace them. The front oem tire was cupping pretty bad, enough so that during cornering, the bike would feel as if it's being pulled in that direction and made for a very unsafe feel through corners. Almost like that feeling when you are going over parallel grooves on the road and have a hard time keeping the bike in a straight line. Still had plenty of meat and the rears even had more but I decided to ditch them. Even though almost all my miles are commuting, technically i could have gone further but got a steal of a deal on a set of S21 Bridgestones so I figured it was time to replace them. Once the fresh set of tires went on and now 150 miles later, the feeling my full ohlins gives me is unreal. For a longggg time now, I've felt that my stock suspension cbr600 felt night n day better than my full ohlins 1199 but now I know where the problem was. Never considered cupping since I only looked at tread and psi and still had plenty of meat. S21 is a great tire but only time will tell how they hold up. Plus, they make a 200/55 rear tire!

I went 4000 mile on my back tire, and that was on race mode and heavy acceleration. It was showing the steel cords at that point. Should have changed it a thousand mile earlier. The front tire could have when another thousand miles, but figured on changing them both at the same time.
Great tires though.
