So what was the criteria for getting an invite? Was it only current SL owners?

I thought you had to have bought or owned a Corse model ducati or the dealer recommended you

I got my invite awhile ago, I believe your dealer submits your name and/or you are on their mailing list from the previous superbike models.

That's just poetic... I seem to be on all the time share mailing lists but not the one that I would be most interested in being on.

My invite was because my dealer had put me on the list for this machine. They put me on the list as a reliable customer who probably spends way too much in their shop!!

Although they did mention possibly because I also owned an R. Any other R owners back that up?

Man I wish I had dealerships like the ones you guys talk about....
My dealership proly doesnt know defference between a honda and a panigale..... (they both red right???)

I own a R and I didn't get one

In think mutt is right. I've bought two many biked and have spent way to much money at the dealer, I'm sure that's a huge factor.

I'm on a first name basis with the GM, the SM, most of the sales team, service advisors, the tech and even the parts guy lol. And I have a great relationship with all and i'm on their mailing list. Their must be something else? Nevertheless, I'm sure we'll all get the details next month.

Mutt I'm a 15' R owner and registered it with Ducati on their website when I bought it so I think I was on their mailing list.

Sounds like this bike will have great potential and if I the cash I might consider it. Still waiting to see all the specs on it though.

Its funny how F1 and other topend motorsport, Airbus, boats etc use CF for major high stress parts yet seems to still scare the common people....

Carbon fibre exhuasts are where its at.... (F1 teams have been heavly testing these for years, as well as CF conrods..)

well how many times does an F1 machine use high stress carbon parts in critical areas and how often are said parts tested? so yeah, the common people......vs race teams....
